	Well, Christian simply means follower of Christ. Being a specific denomination like Catholic is fine, but be careful not to let the religion aspect confuse you. There are many denominations and sects, with varying beliefs, but only 1 God and only 1 Bible. So try to follow Him, not the church or religion. As far as drinking goes, the Bible only says being drunk is a sin. But, it also says doing anything that could lead others to sin or give them the wrong idea is also sin. So, in the American culture drinking and going to parties is associated with drunkeness, so for me personally, being a Christian who represents Christ, I don't drink or go somewhere that may give someone the wrong idea about what I do or what I stand for. You can make your own decisions about it of course. Pray for guidance and for God to give you convictions and then go off that. Remember, making some Christian friends and having fun with them is a great way to not only avoid bad situations but also grow closer to God. And, hey, it's my pleasure helping you out. 	Ok, I gotcha. Well, here's the deal. College is a tough place to be a Christian and truely follow Christ. Very tough, lol. But the thing is, when you decide to follow Christ, you also decide not to follow the world. My favorite verse of scripture is Romans 12:2. Maybe that will help. Anyway, not following the world means not doing some of the stuff you would have done before that is obviously wrong or sinful. (use your own convictions on that one and pray about it if you are confused). And this can be hard. So, my suggestion to you would be find as many people Christian friends as you can. Church is a good place of course. Hang out with them, trust them. It's also a good idea to find one person who is more experience at this than you and make ask them questions and get advice on a regular basis. Someone you can trust and share your life with. Ok, well I hope that all makes sense to you, but mostly don't worry too much. If you truely seek after God, all the answers to stuff will come to you. And especially if you hang around Christians as much as possible. peace :-)
