About Me
  I am an eighth grade English/language arts teacher. I have always been interested in art/photography/writing, but I never have enough time to explore my creative side. I have developed an appreciation for dark chocolate and anything minty. I LOVE Italian food!

I love various genres of music. I'm a big fan of punk (The Offspring, NOFX, Weezer). I also enjoy heavier stuff like System of a Down and Hatebreed. Yet, I'm also into classical music (Mozart rocks!)

I'm an avid reader. I read almost anything I can get my hands on. My favorite book is an obscure L.M. Montgomery novel called The Blue Castle. I enjoy reading about vampires, lycanthropes, and zombies. I love Laurell K. Hamilton, Sherilyn Kenyon. The Twilight series is fantastic. I'm finally reading a book to get ready for my students, but I really want to read my new Anita Blake book I just bought from Amazon.

I'm eccentric, moody, and highly-motivated. I am working on my masters degree in reading. I will settle for nothing less than perfection in my work.

My website is really old, and I haven't updated it in years.

Yeah, I have not read the Giver, and she said that we didn't have time to read both so we drew for books out of a hat. I have only read a few pages in it, and she said that we should read a good bit over break. So, I better start. lol I passed my driving test for my permit. First try! Haha, I am glad that you are having loads of fun in Maryland. I have been home all week. I will tell Katie that you said you understood how she feels. I think that we are going out again this weekend. I hope so, however it would be just as fun without the accidents. haha, stay in touch!

I was out late last night with Samantha Longcoy and her sister. We went to Summersville to see A Haunting in Ct. I can't spell that state. haha. She hit a light pole in Burger King's parking lot. She was upset, but I thought that it was hilarious! And then by the end of the night, she was laughing too! How are things? I am ready to graduate. haha, guess what?! I brought my D up to an A in 6 weeks. Very though. I will go to AP 11 next year. I got a new novel; Gathering Blue. I think that I have heard you talk about it before! I have not started it yet.
