I actually don't know why I seem to write very depressing poems =/
They kind of are easier, I guess, to express feeling and use language to draw people in. I shall have to try my hand at love peoms and see how far I get =]
*****************************STORIES**************************
-I originally came up with the idea for The Forbidden Love: Til Death Bring Us Together. I wrote the first three chapters and told my friend about it. She really liked it, so now we’re thinking up and writing the rest of the story together, starting with chapter 5.
Upcoming Stories:
1.) The Prequel to The Forbidden Love: Til Death Bring Us Together: Eliza’s Story (because my friend really wanted to know Eliza’s story, like how she got there and things like that, so we’re writing it :])
2.) The Sequel to The Forbidden Love: TDBUT ( I didn’t feel like writing the whole thing out lol)
**My friend also came up with names for some of the characters, so kudos to her =D

Tips for writing a good poem
NUMBER one: Capitalize letters where letters ought to be capitalized.
NUMBER two: Check your grammar. When "there" is used where "they're" is supposed to be, it automatically turns the reader off.
NUMBER three: Give some insight when typing author's notes. Make it sound interesting so people will actually want to read your poem.
NUMBER four: Do NOT use chatspeak. It might be cool in IMs, but when typing a poem, it makes you look like you don't care and is very unprofessional.
And finally, NUMBER five: Capitalize the title of your poem. Seriously, come on. You're just lazy if you don't do this.
**These are just some tips I feel people could use when looking to present a poem to the testriffic community. Do not feel obligated to follow them like rules. They are simply my opinions. Thank you.
***Oh, I almost forgot one of the most important rules. This is a rule, not a tip. Please, feel obligated to follow it.
NUMBER six: NEVER post a poem that is not your own when you do not tell people who the actual author is. Not only is this deceptive, but it is also ILLEGAL. It's called plagiarism. DON'T DO IT. That is all. =]
