About Me
  My name is Barbara louise. I have been studying photography for 3 years. I really try not to edit my photos because i want them to be as natural as possibly. I have studied art for many many years and was one a art teachers aid. i have had a few paintings in galleries and sold some pieces.i have not painted in a while due to starting my family. my daughter has special needs and she in my number one priority. ( she has heart problems) I will hopefully be opening my own photography studio one day when she gets better. until then it is simply a hobby............................................................................................... i was shooting in auto, shes was very wiggley and it was the easiest way to do it before she got all angry at me. lol. but ill try the tips you told me and see how they go over the next time. =]

nah i didnt use RAW, ive used it before and my photos actually came out super small since i didnt have the right software..and i had to download the software to open them fully, and i just couldnt figure it out. so it was shot jpeg..which is probably why its darker and kinda flat.

hmmm, TP for difusing the flash, never thought of that! I'll have to try it out^_^ thanks. And yea, I tried a non-flash one, and it turned out aweful. Like, you couldn't see the neon-eyness of it at all. But thanks for the suggestion, I'll try it next time I do still-life photography!
