Aspiring Author and Poet

I'm an aspiring author and poet. I know I have a lot to learn, but I am more than willing to receieve anything that's thrown at me. Currently, I am writing to novels. Both are going to be published some day. Mark my words! One is titled "Mage's Blood" - though I thinking of changing the name to a better one- and the other is titled Eternally Dead.

I often write poems meant for poetry slam competitions I've never actually been to. I'm an avid poet, with most of my topics ranging from an a ngry feel to a more complex sadness. I love to use metephors and things to hide my actual meaning, which makes readers think more about what the poem is saying. I know I still have a ways to go before I perfect and polish my writing styles, so any constructive critisism is more than welcome.
