Josh sat in a bench and stared at the spot where he and Lexi had just argued. It was all so terribe, he couldnt even bare to think about it. How could something so incredible be gone within a day?

One answer: Getting drunk.

He wiped a tear that began to slide down his right cheek and thought hard about his mistake. He could have sworn that it was Lexi on top of him that night. But he was drunk, so it was obvious that he was halusinating.

But Josh wasnt just going to stay down and let his life without Lexi pass by. He was going to do whatever it takes to get her back. He wasnt sure what, but that's how he started, right?

   God, Im such an ass! he thought as another tear slid down his face. But this time, he didnt bother to wipe it away. If crying in public meant paying the price for his mistake, then it was all worth it.

   "Josh, are you okay?" he turned to see Lauren walking towards him, Angela following.

   "What happened?" Angela asked, worried and concerned about her older brother.

   "Nothing, I'm fine. Just got some sand blown into my eyes." he said as he put on a fake smile. But Lauren saw right through it. And she knew that his tears were reaching out for Lexi.

   "Are you sure?" Angela asked again.

   "Yea, dont worry. Go have fun." He smiled at his little sister again. Hoping she'd buy the lie he just told her.

   "Ok, well we'll you later. Come on Lauren!" She ran down the beach and into the cool water.

   "I'll be there in a sec Ang!" Lauren called out and sat besides Josh on the bench. "You two had a fight, didnt you?"

   "How do you know?" he chuckled at Lauren's remarks.

   "I just do." She giggled.

   Josh looked at her. "You're beginning to look just like Lexi."

   "It runs in the family." she said a bit more serious. "Look, I dont know what happened between you guys, but just give her some time. She always gets mega upset after a fight but she's just clearing her mind."

   Josh nodded. "Yea, maybe that's what I need to do." And with that, Lauren left him there and joined Angela in the water. Another tear going down, just like his heart.
