   What kind of name is Herman? Lexi thought as she walked into her beach house. She had an eerie chat with some stranger and she couldnt get her mind off of it. Normally, she would forget about random conversations she had with strangers, but this stranger was different from all the rest. This stranger happened to know Josh. And happened to know the things that Josh has been saying about her.

   She was most definately going to have a talk with... Herman. In fact, she's gunna look for her right now. She dropped her towel on the couch and exited out the door, but bumped into a large figure. In this case, Josh.

   "Oh, sorry bout' that. Hey, do you wanna go grab something to eat?" he asked. Rubbing his head.

   "Hangover?" Lexi asked as she watched him rub his head harder than before.

   "Yea, how'd you know?" He looked confused. But she didnt respond. She just walked right past him. "Lex, what's wrong?" he called out as he tried to keep up with her pace.

   She didnt want anything to do with him, not even talk to him. Because everytime she looked at him, she imagined him kissing that girl. So she walked furiously down the pavement road that led to the beach.

   "Lexi, what's wrong? Why are you walking away from me?!" he began to get furious so when he finally caught up to her, he grabbed her wrist and held it tight.

   "Let me go!" she yelled. Stuggling to escape his firm grip.

   "Not until you tell me what's wrong!" he yelled back.

   "Josh, let go or I swear, I'll yell for help!"

   "Just tell me what the hell is wrong with you?!"

   "You should know!" she yelled again. Still struggling to escape but Josh was too strong and wouldnt let go.

   "What?!"

   "Oh God, Josh! Dont act clueless! We both know what went on last night, especially you!" she was angry and Josh saw every bit of her anger in her eyes. Usually, he thought it was cute. But this time, it was serious.

   "Actually, I dont! All I remember about last night was getting drunk and pucking outside my window!"

   "Well, think again!" she finally escaped Josh's grip but made no effort to move a muscle or run. She already started this fight, now she had to end it and it wasnt going to end until she had the last word.

   "I swear! That's all I remember, getting drunk and that's it!"

   "You got drunk with someone Josh!" Lexi croaked. She was about to cry, and Josh couldnt stand it. He hated it when girls cried unless they were crying tears of joy. But as soon as he saw a tear slide down her cheek, he remembered what had gone on last night. And with that girl. He was so drunk he imagined that girl as Lexi. He got so carried away that his actions became a permanent scar.

   "How could you that?" she cried.

   Josh opened his mouth to say something, anything! But he couldn't speak. He felt so ashamed of himself but he had a reason for the inncident: He was drunk!

   Although she was crying, Lexi still felt strong with power. "I trusted you."

   "Lexi, you dont understand! Last night was a mistake, I di-"

   "You were the mistake!!" she cut him off. "I knew this wasn't gunna work, it was too good to be true!"

   "Would you just listen!" Josh pleaded.

   "I've listened enough and all I've heard were poor excuses! In which, I dont even tend to believe. So dont even fucken' bother to try to 'persuade' me." she yelled louder than ever. The fact she was being talked about made her mad and Josh could see it very clear.

   "Lexi, it was an accident!" he said.

   "You're right." Lexi said more calmly. "This whole thing was." She slowly turned and walked down the beach. Unsure of where she was going but her feet seemed to control themselves and led her far from Josh. When she finally got to the end of the beach she fell to her knees and cried into her hands.

Sure, she got the last word in the arguement but she still felt crappy and empty inside. At times like this, Josh was usually the one to comfort her and tell her that everything was gunna be okay but Josh was done with. So who did she have now to comfort her? No one.

   Josh was now out of her life so she couldnt run to him. Her dad was dead so she definately couldn't run to him although he did give the best advice. Her mom didnt like that she was going to her dad for help though. Her parents had a bad divorce over something that she didnt even know about. And after the divorce, her dad got in a car accident.

Lexi remembered talking to him in the hospital before he passed away. He said, "Lexi, although things between your mom and I havent worked out. And what we had wasnt exactly true love, I want you to keep your hopes up. But dont change for no boy! If it's true love, then he'll love you for the person you truly are! And dont let you're mom get in the way either! Take some risk, just have fun!"

   Lexi began crying again. He was the one that persuaded her into dating Josh when she wasnt allowed to date at all. But all she got herself into was a big mess. A mess that she would have to live with for the rest of her life.
