Millions of questions ran through Josh's head but only one stayed in contact: Why didnt you tell her how you felt about her?  That was his whole plan, right? To be honest, Josh didnt even have a plan. He felt hopeless and down.

He turned to the window at his left and watched as Lexi walked towards the rest of the family. To him, Lexi looked like an angel when she was in the sunset.  An angel he'd have to die for.

   "So, is there any guys that you have been interested in lately?" Janese asked her daughter as she sat down right next to her.

   "Huh? I thought I wasnt allowed to dat yet?" Lexi said confused.

   "Well, I realized that I've had my standards up too high. I remember when I was your age, my parents wouldn't let me date thinking I would get hurt or something and I never understood why. But if you never make mistakes, then you'll never learn."

   I wish you would have said that about a year ago!" Lexi thought.  "Well there was this one guy..."

   "Really?" Janese said, alsmost spitting out the Pina Colota that she was drinking.

   "Yea, but things didnt work, so it doesnt really matter anymore."she said.

   "Oh sweetie, Im sorry. But just remember that there is a reason why the people from your past didnt make it into your future. You'll find someone soon." Janese tried her best to make Lexi feel better but by the look on her daughters' face, she knew that she wasnt doing a good job of it.

   "Find who soon?!" Aaron asked as he jumped next to Lexi.

   "None of your business!" Lexi answered as she started tickling him. Aaron giggled and yelled at Josh, "Josh help me! She's taking your spot as the tickle monster!"

   "There is always room for two, Aaron." Josh told him as he put on a fake smile for Lexi. She smiled back although she didnt want to.

   "Um, I forgot my sunscreen lotion!" Lexi said as she stood up. "I'll be right back." She ran quickly to the beach house.

   She's lying. Josh thought. He could always tell when Lexi was lying. He looked down at her beach bag and there, of course, was her sunscreen lotion. He grabbed it but quickly hid it behind his back.  "Yea, I forgot my sunscreen too. I better get it before I get in the water." He ran after Lexi, to the beach house.

   Lauren, Lexi's younger sister watched Josh in suspicion. Now why would Josh be heading towards our beach house when he and Aaron have their own? Lauren got up and walked towards the two teenagers.

  God! Why is this happening to me? Lexi asked herself as she paced back and fourth in the living room.  Everywhere I look, he's there! Well, DUH! We're in the same family now, Im gunna see him everyday!  Lexi lost track of her thoughts and what she was duing when she suddenly heard a males voice.

   "Are you looking for this?" Lexi turned around to see Josh holding her sunscreen. For the first time in her life she remained speechless. She didnt know what to say because her mind went completly blank. But before she could make a sound... Josh kissed her.
