“I promise, you know nothing in the world can make me hate you.” I stated. A small smile appear on his face.

“Well,” he took a deep breath, “I can’t really say it, so can I show you?”

“Show me what?” I asked getting a little impatient. I wish he would already tell me already.

“This.” he softly said.

“What--” I was cut off when his lips and my lips touched. My eyes widen up, I was too shock to react. His kiss was compassionate, a type of kiss I only had with Mark. I wish and hope that this was all just a bad horrible dream, and I should be waking up any second now. Once I finally pulled myself together, I pushed him off and more than anything I wanted to slap him. I was more than furious at him. I want him to tell me that kiss was just a mistake, and it should had never happen.

“Elizabeth… I love you. I honestly do, and you have the rights to know.” his words were shaky, and I could see the tears in his eyes that he was trying to hold back.

“I knew you didn’t feel the same way. I should had known.” was he trying to make me guilty? Just seeing him so… sad made me all teary. I took both of his hands in mine and slowly let down a few teardrops. Why am I crying? I’m not the one getting rejected.

“I’m sorry.”

I’m sorry? What the hell. that’s all I can say? I don’t deserve a friend like Jerry.

“Don’t be, just…just go back to the others. I forgot to tell you. Seth, David, and Angela said they weren’t hungry. They should be back at their cabins.” he didn’t even dare look at me as he spoke. I open my mouth to say something but than just decided to keep it shut.  I nodded my head and started to walk through the trees. I push branches aside and try to find my way out of here. I screamed as I tripped over the tree’s root. I swore silently too myself as the blood from my knee drip down. The damage wasn’t too bad, but I didn’t even try to get up. I just sat there thinking about everything that happen to me at this camp. I started to whimper a little. How much I dread this place.

“Stupid camp. Why won’t you just kill me already?” I cried looking up at the sky. It was like I was talking to god instead.

“But wouldn‘t Mark be upset?” a similar voice rang behind me. I didn’t even have to turn around I knew who it exactly was. I just sighed and closed my eyes.

“Leave me alone.” I blush with embarrassment, but I try not to show it.

how long was he watching me?

“Such a nice greeting.” Seth sat next to me. I rolled my eyes at him and jerk my head away.

“Go away.” I kept my temper calm. I was fighting to hold back all the anger I had for him.

“So who’s going to help you with your knee?”

“I’m not weak, I can take care of myself. Thank you very much.”

“Okay than, I guess you don’t need my help.” he got up and slowly walk away. It was taunting me on how ridiculously slow he was.

“Wait!” I sighed to myself. I’m going to regret this. “I might need some help getting back.” I muttered but I’m pretty sure he could make it out. I could see the smirk on his face as he made his way over to me.

“I hope you’re not fat.” he said before picking me up. He carried me in a way you do when you get married.

“You’re mean. I’m not fat.” I scoffed at him. He ignored me and started to walk through the trees. My knee started to sting as it hit the branches. I flinched every now and than, I try holding in the pain. It seems like it’s taking forever, I wonder if Seth knows the way out. I tried not to think about us getting lost.

“We’re almost there.” he alerted me. I shook my head and yawned. It was getting dark and I was getting sleepy. My eyelids got heavier and heavier and I just doze off to sleep.
