Griff's Pov

I awoke to the sound of my alarm clock. It's 6am on a Fri morning. Joy. I got up and began to get ready for school.I opened my closet and picked out a pair of skinny jeans and my brand new Bring Me the Horizon shirt. I got dressed, straightened my hair, and put on eyeliner all before heading downstairs. My mom stood at the bottom of the stairs with a letter in her hand.

"Griff?" she asked.

"Yeah mom?"

"Look what was taped on the door when I walked outside."She held up a white piece of paper with writing on it. It read "Your boyfriends an emo fag" in huge red letters.

"Goddamnit", I screamed. "Wont they ever leave me alone.?"I thought out loud.

"Oh my." my mom said with a shocked look on her face as she turned the paper around. There was a picture on the back. It was a picture of a guy getting beat up. Above the guy getting beat up it said"Jared."

"Shit." I grabbed my bag and ran out the door to Jared's house. I was hoping that he hasent left yet. I don't want him to walk alone.

I got to Jareds door and started banging on it. Not thinking of everyone else who was probably still sleeping. His mom answered the door.

"How may I help you?" She tried to ask politly but I could tell that she realized I was Jareds boyfriend.

"uh. yes. Is Jared still here?"

"No he left a while ago."

"Okay Thank you."I barely said before running down the street.

I finally arrived to the block before where our school was. At the end of the block I can see a bunch of guys in a circle surronding someone. I ran over, close enough so that I can see what was happening but they couldn't see me. And there stood in the middle of the circle was Jared. He was on the floor gripping his arm and stomach. Blood was dripping out of his mouth.

"C'mon is that all you got emo fag?" One of the jocks screamed as he kicked Jared.

"No!!"I screamed and ran over in between all the big guys. I finally made it to where Jared was. I kneeled down on the floor hugging Jared tightly.

"awww! look everyone its his prince charming here to save him."

I ignored all them as they laughed and taunted us. I picked Jared up and carried him back to my house.

After 10 mins of struggling to get home we finally made it. I layed Jared down on the grass as I ran and banged on my door.

"Mom! Mom! answer the door hurry!" I yelled. My mom finally opened the door.

"Hurry mom Jareds hurt. Help me."
