Griff's Pov

I walked down Jared's driveway heading towards the street corner. I looked at my cell phone to check the time. It's 12:30 in the afternoon. I decided that I had enough time to get home so I took the long way home. On my way back I ran into Jack. Jack was the popular football player who made fun of anyone who is different then him. He was on his front lawn with a bunch of his other football player friends. Suddenly he screamed "Hey look guys, it's the gay emo fag I was telling you about." All his jock friends began laughing and pointing at me. I slipped my headphones into my ears and blasted A Skylit Drive on my ipod. I tried to block out their name calling taunts . They started throwing Snowballs at me. It was really cold since it was winter and I was only wearing a thin hoodie and skinny jeans. Their taunting didnt bother me much because it happens to me alot. Then I heard the one thing that pissed me off. They said it so loudly I heard it over my blasting music.

"Your boyfriend is an emo fag just like you.IWhats his name again??? Umm Jared I think. I am going to beat the living shit out of him at school tommarow." My eyes became infuriated. I threw down my headphones and I pod and I ran over to where Jack was standing. I wound up my fist and socked Jack right in the face. He lost his balence and fell backwards into the snow.

"That will teach you to ever fu**ing say something about my boyfriend again."

I was suprised at myself for being able to knock down a huge football player. He had to weigh around eighty more pounds then me.

I walked back over to the street corner, picked up my ipod and headed on home.

Jareds Pov

"So let me get this straight. You got a boyfriend?"ALex asked me. I must have confused her because I was talking so fast wanting to tell her the good news.

"Yes I do and he is amazing. I wish you could meet him." I said sadly.

"I might be able to come down this weekend because I got my license." She said cheerfully.

"Yes, that would be awesome. Call me when you find out okay?

"Okay I will. Talk to you soon Jared. I love you."

"Love you too Alex."

I am so excited.I mean it's not everyday that your best friend who has been with you through thick and thin gets to meet the guy who has made your life perfect. I trailed up the stairs and dozed off to sleep in my own bed.
