Griff's Pov

My sister walked in the door. Her jaw dropped when she saw that I was ontop of Jared.

"Griffy, what are you doing?" she asked so innocently.

"Ummm well....." I looked at Jared hoping he would have an input. He just shrugged.

"Meagan honey." I tried to sound sweet.

"Meet Jared. He is my....."I paused. I knew I was going to have to explain a lot to my sister because she is only six.

"He is your what griffy?" She had such an innocent,little kid look on her face.

"He is my..boyfriend." I finally got it out.

"Your boyfriend??? But you are a boy"

" I know I am a boy, but I like boys more then girls."

"oh." I couldnt tell what she was feeling. Her expression was blank.

"Your confused aren't you?" I asked her.

"Yes Griffy."

"Ok so you know how mommy likes daddy." She nodded.

"Well instead of me liking a girl. I like a guy."

"Oh. Does that mean your gay?" She said so seriously.

"You know that word?" I was shocked that a six year old has heard that word before.

"Well Griffy when you walked to my school to pick me up last week, a boy in my class saw you walking to the school ,and he asked if you were gay. I didn't Know what it meant so I asked him. He told me it was a boy that likes other boys. I asked him how he knew what that means and he told me that his daddy told him not to hang out with gay boys. He told his son that they were bad people."

Tears started to roll down my face as Jared stood up from the bed. He came over and put his arm around me as my sister began to talk again. She saw my sad face and she tried to make me feel better.

" But don't worry big brother I stood up for you. I told him that you werent. But that was before I knew.....But it is okay griffy I will be sure to tell him that there is nothing wrong with gay people."

"Awwww" Jared said as he hugged my little sister.

"Meagen. You don't have to do that for me." I smiled.

"Its okay big brother. I would do anything for you."

"I love you." I said as I hugged my little sister tightly.

"Meagen I dont think you properly have met my boyfriend Jared. I love him oh so much." Jared blushed.

"Hello Jared." My sister squeked.

"Your so cute." Jared kneeled down to my sisters height and hugged her.

"Everyone breakfast is ready," My mom called from the bottom of the stairs.

"Okay mom be down in a minute," I yelled back.

Meagen trotted out of the room as me and Jared began to put our clothes back on.

"I think it's super sweet how you and your sister get along" Jared said to me.

"ya well, im glad I can teach my sister right from wrong. I can't belive a father would tell his kid that gay people are bad." I mentioned.

" Well, im proud to be gay. If I wasen't I probably would have never met the most wonderful boy in the world," Jared said as he hopped around the bed to kiss me.

"Im glad two." I blushed.
