Chapter 4
"Well, here it is." Jason said
"Its beautiful, that just makes me want one even more now."
"Well, would you like to ride it?"
"Sure, but i don’t really know how to ride I don’t even know that much about it at all like how to even shift gears."
I may have known about the bikes but I had no clue on how to actually drive one.
"Well, that’s where i come in isn’t it?" he said smiling.
"I guess so." I said blushing slightly.
"Ok, I know you have to already know how to start it just like any thing else that has a motor, but the clutch is down by the footing and the brakes are up here near the gas, which is where your right hand is. You got me so far?"
"Yeah, I think."
"Here why don’t you get on and I’ll show you it’s a lot easier to show you then to tell you."
So i climbed on to the bike, I wasn’t expecting it to be so heavy and almost dropped it. I got it balanced and Jason came up behind me to help me. Man did he smell good, but that’s not the point.
"Ok on your right handle bar is the gas and the brake." he said taking my right hand and revving the engine up a little bit to show me what he was talking about.
"Then the clutch is down here." pointing to where my left foot would go.
"So are you still with me?" he asked.
"yeah I’m pretty sure I get it." I said still a little bit confused. There more to driving a bike then it looks. the clutch by left foot. Got it! The gas on right handle bar. Got it! brake also on right handle bar. Got it!
"ok, here get off and I’ll take you on a ride to show you a little bit better."
"Yup, just don't kill us." I said laughing slightly
" Hey, you’re the one who don’t know how to drive it yet remember?" he replied laughing back
"sure" I said sarcastically.
"Well then lets go."
He revved the bike and then took off slowly out of his garage and down the drive way, he slightly turned his head to see how I was doing and I smiled at him and he smiled back. As we headed onto the street I put my arms around his waist so I wouldn't fall backwards. It surprised me that he was such a good driver and even a good teacher. I just loved being on the back of his bike with him.........
