Lasting Love (Ch. 24, P. 1)

From the time when Elizabeth had avoided Jeremy to spend more time with Tyler, so he wouldn’t able to bother her at all. Jeremy had a girlfriend, Lola, but he always had hard time to love her little by little as Elizabeth was around in school. She always ignored him repeatedly until the prom night.

Erica had been asked by Ethan Taylor to be his date for a prom. He could be older but he was in same level as Elizabeth was in high school. Erica smiled and nodded for becoming his date, not yet a girlfriend. Ethan preferred to slow it down because he didn’t want to ruin his ex-girlfriend by taking too fast and breaking up after that. He would love to gradually love her by taking it slow down. It was beautiful moment for Erica because he was only the one guy she had wanted. She smiled and giggled as much as she could but she didn’t mean to giggle out loud to make Ethan laugh in the hall right next to her classroom near the locker. She was wrapping her textbooks in her arms and leaning against the wall. She looked up to Ethan. He was ten inches taller than her. He was smiling shyly so far and wide on his face with his hot tomato cheeks. He never had done to her since long time. She was only his crush longest at the same time as she was crushing on him too. What a world! He pulled his hands into his jean pockets. Every time, his heart pounded so hard against his chest, so did her heart to the end. She’d thanked Elizabeth for doing for Erica. That’s what she do. That was what the real friendship.

Elizabeth laughed at Tyler’s hilarious jokes. She had hysterics until she breathed and panted like mad, as she placed her right hand on Tyler’s strong shoulder. She rested her other hand on her stomach while she tried to breath through an air. "Okay, that’s enough joke from you, Tyler!" She still breathed even as she tried not to laugh once again. Tyler shook his head with his smile leaving on his face whilst he wrapped his arm around her waist. He pulled her gently closer to his face and placed his lips on her mouth passionately. It made them close their eyes together in the hallway. She didn’t care if anyone was looking at them, so didn’t Tyler. Until she pushed him little inch backward so tenderly, she suddenly saw Jeremy walk past them. She laid her eyes on his hurt eyes, but she didn’t understand. Letting his tears falling down, she was in a lost world once again. She was looking back at Tyler with her broken heart. She tried to smile and erased the eyes of Jeremy. Tyler asked if she was okay. "I’ll be okay. No worries." Tyler hummed his little, favorite song once again by Jesse McCartney, so it worked to make Elizabeth smile.

"Will you be my prom date, my dear Elizabeth?" Tyler asked as he laid his right knee on the floor in jeans, as he placed his left hand on other knee. He looked up at Elizabeth with a smile. She giggled out loud through her words, "Yes, my handsome, Tyler." She pulled him up and grabbed his face toward her face for another, long kiss into an adoring.

Elizabeth walked out of her bedroom to downstairs in her layered long, prom party gown in taffeta and hand decorated with beads, sequins and rhinestones. It was such a perfect, elegant strapless gown to fix her look, personality and beauty. Her normal, straight chocolate hair was swept up and loosely pinned into a cascade of soft messy loops that trickled seductively from the top of the crown down to the nape of the neck. Tyler was surprised to see her and thoughts, she is beautiful, with his mouth hanging open.

Tyler was wearing his black tux with his russet woven all along with his gold tie inside. He was placing his hands in his pocket and looked up with his silence, astonished face. He said in a deep, disbelief tone, "Wow, I never see you like this! You ar-are beautiful like the sun." He leaned to kiss her soft, round cherry cheeks.

Elizabeth was smiling so far and wide once again that make her heart skipping every beat. "Thanks, Tyler." She smirked as she wrapped her arms around his neck and leaned her head on his chest. She pulled herself an inch away. Tyler was still holding couple boxes behind his back. He was handing to her parents his box to hold for him. He was opening other box for Elizabeth and it was a crosaigê. It was very lovely, yellow rose on a crosaigê. He slipped it into her wrist with his grin.
