Authors Comments: Since I am still working on my story, 'Lasting Love,' but I am sort of having a writer's block. I am still writing today and tomorrow until I finished it. I will probably post it soon. Anyway, this is my story about my life. You will probably learn lots of things about me in real life. Everything about love, deafness, friendship, enemies, school, drama, hispanic, and many things you don't know about me. I guess you will know about me. If you want me to keep you posted, I don't mind at all, but in the most of the times, i prefer you to subcribe it to me, please. Thank you!!

Metamorphosis

Chapter One, Part One

Under the sizzling daylight, I was walking with my thirteen-years old sister, Vanessa, as I was carrying my little, ruby purse with my favorite Barbie dolls inside. I sighed as loud as my ruined heart was going to miss my dear, old best friends, Alejandra and Delmi. I knew I had to leave them behind in El Salvador, my home country, to move to the United States of America. My heart still beat as heavily as I had to kiss everyone in my family goodbye, so did my sister. I had wave goodbye behind my back. I saw the tears rolling down their faces at the airport, as I was about to enter the airplane with my sister, waving goodbye. I knew it was not our last farewell but it was just a ‘I’ll see you again’ sign. I whispered to myself, "Yo los extranaré." They were Spanish words I spoke in the meaning of "I’ll miss them."

As I saw the clouds pass by, I began to remember many memories back in El Salvador. My throat was squishing hard on the inside of my mouth and tried to not break my heart at a distance. I wanted my happiness to come back but it didn’t. My sister was listening to her old walk-man in a music. I couldn’t hear the music very well because I was fairly deaf. I could take notice of the sounds of thunderous on the airplane. It was not much sound I can remember very well but I only can describe everything as much as I remember the simple, special memory. All of a sudden, I kept in my mind to go back to my previous flashback.

I was dressing in my old uniform. The skirt was striped in few colors, red, blue, black, gold and white as it was swinging around in an air but nobody could see under my skirt. Whew. The white, shirt with buttons on inside my uniform along with my skirt but it was also a dress. My black tie was inside too around my neck under the outfit. I was holding it a little tighter to breath harder because I knew I had to tell that I was moving to United States to live with my parents. My parents were still waiting for Vanessa and me in three months I wept the tears in the eyes but I was patient for my parents to come back in my hometown, San Salvador, El Salvador in a Central America. I almost believed in myself that they would never come back to live in there. I had to, I had to admit to my best friends, Alejandra and Delmi at separate times. Man, they were not the best friends to each other except for me.

I was continued to walk toward her in a heartbreaking smile and I told her, "Muevo a estados unidos" in a full Spanish which meant, "I am moving to United States." I explained everything but there was something I didn’t know about why Vanessa and I were moving to live with my parents in there. Where could I possibly live? I wondered in million questions to ask myself in my lone mind. I told her that I wouldn’t come back to live in El Salvador again. It was the truth but I knew someday I will visit them. She placed her chubby, darkened skin upon her hands on her faces with the sounds of sob. It was breaking my heart too. I whispered that I would miss her. She gave me her address for writing a letter. I promised myself to write back. I nodded and left her. It was only my last day of my private, hearing school.

I still stood on the seat and watched the clouds past by repeatedly. It was the last memory I could memorize since. I never put my moment out of your mind that I was with her. She was sweetheart in her chubby uniform to fit her beautiful, round body. Her darkened skin matched her black, wavy hair into a messy ponytail. I still remembered her. It was unforgettable recollection.

My eyes were drowning into a dead world once again in dog-tired body until I felt a rap against my shoulder. It was my sister. I was only turning into nine years old on my birthday in August 18, 2000. It was sad day, yet glad. We waited until we reached the land.
