Lasting Love (Ch. 23)

Elizabeth just spent a lot of time with Tyler in almost one year as a couple but she also spent her time with her brother, Ethan, equally. Ethan usually was just being her brother but he was more like a best friend than being siblings together. She felt more comfortable making new friends since Tyler was entering her life. She was trying to get along with her parents but she wasn’t sure yet until Ethan encouraged her to spend with their parents better than nothing. Nothing can makes your heart feeling hurt so badly if you haven’t done anything you love. That was what she felt like.

Before the dinner started in one night, she changed her normal outfit into a beautiful, yellow summer dress along with her fair flip flops in her soft, downy feet. She went to the bathroom to put her glow makeup on her face with her shine, glossy lips. Once Ethan was entering the bathroom where Elizabeth was, but he walked out to let her curl her straight, brown hair. Her straight hair was turning into a beautiful twisted hair. She walked out of the bathroom to her bedroom to be prepared. As the bell rang in the house, she ran downstairs to open the front door. She smiled at Tyler. He brought his parents with him for a dinner. Of course, Elizabeth invited them.

The dinner was starting when Elizabeth introduced her parents to Tyler’s parents in a sweet welcome. She went back to the kitchen to bring foods to a dining table but Tyler and Ethan helped her also. She hummed herself in a song. It was a long, nice dinner together, so she could earn her parents’ trust in a time-consuming dialogue. Smiling herself, she went to the kitchen to clean up the dinner. Her parents went to the living room with Tyler’s parents to chat any more longer. Tyler decided not to join them anymore except for Elizabeth. He loved her more than anything in the world.

Elizabeth cleaned the dishes in the sink, so did Tyler together. They giggled aloud when they splashed a undersized water on each other while they cleaned the dishes. Entering the kitchen, Ethan rolled his eyes and wished to be like them, wanting a girlfriend for himself. He sighed. Elizabeth turned her head around to see someone in there but she caught Ethan sighing. "What’s wrong, Ethan?" She asked in a lost mind. "Nothing wrong. Don’t worry about me, sis." He sighed again, as he tried to leave them alone. Grabbing his strong, vast arm behind, she whispered once again, "I know what you are thinking. You don’t want to be single, am I right? Come on, bro."

"Ew, your hand is so soaking!!!" He shouted then laughed. He whipped a wet water on his arm with tower. Elizabeth and Tyler blurted out laughing together at the same time. "It is not so funny, you guys!!!! It is so gross!!!" As he was like a popular, blonde girl and he putted his hand in an air straight to Elizabeth’s shoulder and whispered, "Sis, I am gay. Haha, just kidding." Ethan was trying to make himself better but it wouldn’t go away. The pain. His face was a clown on the outside. "Hey bro, I know someone likes you but you will have to find out yourself." Elizabeth turned around to see Tyler as she wrapped around his neck. He putted his hand behind her back. Gasping, Ethan jumped around the floor and shouted, "ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS? Whoa, why am I wacko tonight, dudes?" He stopped to jump around and then groaned that Elizabeth and Tyler kissed.

In next day, they all went to school together in one simply, same ride together. Elizabeth grabbed Erica to talk with and told her about last night she almost told Ethan that Erica likes him. Gasping, she backed off an inch away from her.

All of the sudden, Elizabeth gasped as she saw someone. She whispered as her head looked down at the floor and hided away from someone. Erica asked, "What’s wrong, Liz? Oh wait, he’s back, is he?" She grabbed Elizabeth to the classroom away from him. On the other hand, he grabbed her away from Erica backward. Gasping in anxious, he whispered, "Are you happy that I was gone? All of the things hurt me, so I learned. I am here to tell you that I love you." Struggling for breath, she tried to get away from him but then she shouted, "Jeremy, let me go! I know you don’t love me at all!" She struggled herself little away from him but it didn’t work at all. "Oh yeah, Jeremy, you have Lola to yourself, not me." Jeremy finally let her go as he watched her to fade in the hallway. His heart was finally cracking open once again. He was in love with her more than with Lola Madden.

"What happened, Elizabeth?" Erica asked her out of the blue as she panted to catch her, "What did he say to you?" She sighed as she hugged Elizabeth with her face saddening once more in such a pain. "He says he loves me but I don’t." She faded her happiness but then was happy again to see Tyler coming toward her. Unexpectedly, she saw Tyler’s worried face that makes her feeling uncomfortable. "Are you okay, Liz?" As he cuddled her around him. He patted her back while her face leaning on his chest. "I’ll be okay, but Jeremy is back."
