Lasting Love (Ch.21)

Elizabeth was still to be dead to the world in her dream. The dream really scared her but she still dreamed through all the things she went.

She screamed and woke up herself at the darkened night where she was sleeping on her soft, queen-sized. She saw someone sitting and comforting her behind her head and she backed off a little far away. Shouting, "Who are you," she still couldn’t see him in the darkness. Someone turned the light on the lamp on a little nightstand right next to the bed and said the words under his breath, "It’s me, Ethan." She asked under her breath, "Oh, why are you doing here?" Her heart still beat all because of her dream scaring her to the heck in a sweat. "I heard you screaming all the times while you were sleeping." Ethan explained, "I had to run checked you to make sure you are okay but I guess you were sleeping and having a bad dream. You kept shouting his name, ‘Tyler.’"

Elizabeth shocked with her open mouth hanging on and asked again, "Really? Is this first time I…shout? Wow!" Ethan nodded his head gently with his closed eyes. "Let’s go back to sleep. I will be watched on you but is it okay if I sleep with you?" She nodded and handed her blanket to him, so they could share together on one night.

In the next morning, Tyler sang his favorite song without a music turning on by Jesse McCartney, "I don’t want another pretty face. I don’t want another just anyone to hold." He walked downstairs with his voice singing along with it as he went to the kitchen. "I don’t want my love to go to waste. I want you and your beautiful soul." He grabbed his breakfast cereal box and then milk from the refrigerate. He’d putted them down on the table without noticing his dad sitting there as he still sang. "I know that you are something special. To you, I’d be always faithful. I want to be what you always needed. Then I hope you’ll se--" As he still walked to get a spoon and bowl for eating cereal and his dad cut off his singing, "Why are you so happy this morning, Tyler Shane Smith?" Tyler was blushing himself in a hot, tomato temperature on his face.

Elizabeth changed her clothes for going to school and grabbed her backpack, not feeling like she wanted to see her parents. She decided to leave before they saw her in the car and waited for Tyler to come. She knew that she felt like she wanted him to go with him better than letting him to the stop to wait for the bus to pick him up straight to school.

Tyler was walking out of the door with his bag pack and his portfolio with artworks inside, walking across the yard to Elizabeth’s driveway and waving at her. Tyler wondered, I hope if she’d accepted my request about being mine. Leaving a smile on his face with fill of butterflies, he walked to the car and got in with her. He putted his stuffs in the backseats without hurting Elizabeth’s head. He sighed. He hated feelings of the butterflies on the inside.

Elizabeth thought, Is something wrong with Tyler? I still don’t understand but I was waiting for him to say something out of his mouth. As she turned the engine on to start driving to school off her driveway. Since the silence, she was waiting but deciding to turn on the radio. Kelly Clarkson’s song named ‘Before Your Love’ sang along the road to the school.

Elizabeth hated it when Tyler didn’t say anything so she let herself telling the words out of her lips, "Why are you so quiet, Tyler? Is something wrong?" Her pulse vibrated her veins on the inside that made her feeling hot temperature, so do Tyler.

Tyler looked up and opened his mouth, asking, "Will you be mine?" Elizabeth didn’t know what to do but her smile was so far and wide on her face. She tried to focus on the road while she was driving. She wondered if she said yes but she preferred to answer later after they arrived in parking lot near the school.
