Elizabeth turned around to see the voice spoke behind her. She looked at the nude feet, let herself escape from the tears, an then she finally looked at jeans that someone is wearing with a big, red t-shirt, until she reached to keep her eyes on his father’s face. She murmured gently, "Yeah, Dad, what do you want?" These words made her dad, Troy anger deep inside but he still loved her. All because she was missing for one day and half. Troy slapped across Elizabeth’s face out of the blue. Elizabeth fell over on the front porch, letting her tears weep down on her face, and rubbing her red, sting cheek. She suddenly stood up, and pointed her index finger to her dad, screaming in an impatience tone, "You! You! Dad, if you love me, why are you slapping my face? Huh, if you love me, then you should let me have a choice for my life. It’s my life, not yours. You can’t control my life because I have to deserve through all the pains I go! I am fine even if anyone hurt me! I can survive myself alive! I am fine with myself! You can’t see enough of the pains inside my eyes! You don’t know me anymore!"
Troy finally let himself cry into the river, where he could drown in. He finally collapsed his knees on the porch little by little, the words of Elizabeth reviewed inside his head like a videotape, and he covered his face. He finally sobbed lightly in a deep tone.
Rebecca heard everything what they said about. She finally reached out of the front door, and hugged Troy, whispering to Elizabeth, "I am sorry for everything, Elizabeth. You have freedom to go, my darling."
"Mom, this isn’t right time to talk about ‘some freedom’ for me to go yet. I am not ready at all, so I am going upstairs in my room." As Elizabeth left her parents alone toward her room upstairs with her broken heart. She gradually walked to the end of hall, and turned left to her room. She ran and jumped on her bed. She sobbed in silence on her pillow.
There were so many thoughts in a pian going on in her mind. Elizabeth lastly stopped her tears slip down her cheeks, and permitted herself to fall asleep.
Brushing his bright chocolate hair with his fingers, Ethan walked in Elizabeth's room, saw her sleep like an angel, and let himself sneak upon her bed with her. Wrapping his strong arms around her waist, his soft thick lips pressed gently against Elizabeth's bright, pink cheek for a goodnight. When he slowly got off the bed, grabbed a dark, warm purple blanket to cover Elizabeth and breathed voicelessly through his sweet words, "It's my fault. It's my fault for everything I caused." He left the room.
