Catch Me When I Fall [Chpt 2]

I was dressing in a black skinny jeans with a yellow crossover tube top without a shoes, just bare feet with a black nails on my toes. I was looking down with my phony smile, and then I walked over to Kathleen, hugging her closely. I whispered to her, “I miss you, Kathleen. I means we miss you.” I leaned my face on her shoulder, but then I knew Jason was still standing behind Kathleen. I looked up and faced Jason, saying lowly with my sad expression, “Hi.”

I backed off, and permitted Kathleen to run over Ash to hug her as long as they could. I knew she missed us too much but I was glad that she had fun with her entire family to Virginia Beach during her vacation. Hey, it was summertime in the beginning! I still stood in front of Jason, trying my best to smile, because I couldn’t pretend to beam any longer because it was my time to tell Ash and Kath the truth. My heart pounded speedy and it wounded myself into a great pain. Gosh, I still loved him. I couldn’t stay the fact any more. It was a time. Each tick tock on the clock, I chatted with my best friends long time but then Jason just joined us. I could tell that he didn’t want to be left out alone, watching a horror movie. “Hey girls, wanna watch a scar-r-y-y movie?” Jason asked, teasing us. “Sure, Jason!” Ash replied back, “But let us get a blankets, pillows, and popcorns!!!” Kath and I nodded, leaving Jason alone in a living room.

“Hey girls, I gotta tell you something that you never knew since,” I said as I moved my head down to the floor, staring at it with my miserable face. Hoping to not let my eyes to cry with my black eyeliner and mascara, I started to get ready to speak out of my heart.

“What is going on, mi Gabby?” Kath called my nickname, so it was much easier for me to feel lightening up. Ash stood there and moved my chin up, looking at them with my tears inside my eyes. “I can’t do this! I can’t d--”Kath cut my words, hugging me tightly enough to feel a warmth of love and friendship. Ash joined us, wrapping her arms open around us. I slowly sat down on the chair in the kitchen, looking up at their faces seriously. “I am ready to say it. I love your brother, Jason more than just friends but I…I can’t because…he have a girlfriend. I guess that’s how I left him.” I spoke low, so Jason couldn’t hear what my words sour throughout the house. I explained about what happened in the past that they never knew, but I guess I was wrong. I think they already knew. “GOSH!! I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT!” Girls screamed excitedly, as they jumped together with their hands holding each other. I laughed, letting my tears go. I got the tissues on the table to wipe my tears away from my face. “SHUT UP!” I smiled, letting my jaws growing hurt. “Let’s go to watch the mo--” As I slowly got up from the chair, but Kath grabbed my arm to not let me go yet. Kath seriously said, trying to smile over her face. I could tell. “It’s time for you to know all along. Ash and I--” I shook my head, and questioned them with my red confused expression, “Wait, wait, you knew!!!” They nodded with their big smiles over their faces. “Gosh, I can’t believe you knew!” Kath endured nodding, but suddenly, Jason entered the kitchen with his funny but weird expression. He asked, smirking, “Girls, what was going on? I heard you screamed loudly enough.”

“You never know! Ask Gabby!” Girls walked out of the kitchen, that made me mad easily but outside of my face, I tried my best to hide my anger with my smile on. Jason putted himself a confusion, trying to ask me but he avoided it because I could tell that he might knew. He probably dropped his ears about everything I said. Maybe. “Did you hear everything I said? Am I right?” I asked, straightening my face with no emotions. I walked out of the kitchen, but I felt a hand to grasp my arm toward him.
