Promise of Love
Chapter 4: More Than Just Friends
"How come you never told me the whole truth I never knew since?" I asked confusingly, as I backed off few inches away from Jake. How came I never knew? I dated every guy I fell in love with but they were such the jerks. I didn’t really understand, however then, Jake explained everything he wanted to express in front of me. I wished I knew his eyes said to me. "Every time I fall in love with you but the three words are strong enough to show you. Oh yes, I love you all the times in the entire universe since I met you. Are you sure do you love me more than just a friend? I want to make sure because I don’t want you to rush." Gosh, he was so serious this time. Suddenly, I walked toward him and met his lips passionately. I felt comfortable kissing him, said as I breathed through a kiss, "I love you, too."
I told him that I really wanted to do something really different than a friendship. I loved to keep a friendship with him but I would try to be his girlfriend because I really wanted to and I loved him though. Well then, Jake finally requested me as his girlfriend, I was well shocking in a surprise, and I said yes, yes. He hugged me tight because his dream came true.
Few months later, I asked him to go to the place I wanted to spend a time with him at the late night. I called him on the phone around 9 p.m. and spoke through the phone, "Hey Jakeboo, wanna go out to the place I want to show you with me?" My heart pulsed loudly and easily as I waited and sat on the soft, big-sized bed. He finally answered me back, "I am sorry for making you wait. It was just a mom standing in front of me. I hate it! I will explain later. Okay, what time do you really want to meet you, Lyboo?"
Aw, I loved every time he called me a cute nickname but he always called me that nickname since we became best friends. We were now sweethearts during that time. My favorite nickname.
"Okay, midnight, is that okay with you?" I replied him back, as I walked toward the closet, "Hmm?" I checked the clothes to see which one I wanted to wear the clothes for tonight while I was holding my black cell phone. Alright, my favorite color was black but I was not Emo or Goth. "Yeah, yeah, sure." Jake weakly responded, "I will meet you, but where do you want me to meet you, baby?" Oh gosh, I forgot to tell him where I wanted to meet him. I was thinking unhurriedly and finally let my thought pop up in my head, answering him back, "Um, meet me in the beach near the pier."
"Okay, I will have to go. My mom is coming. I will sneak out soon! Bye, Lyboo."
The phone died.
