Five hours later the plane reached it's destinantion. Sophia stood up with Gerard and headed off.

 "So, I'll see you when you get to your hotel?" Gerard asked.
"You should! Oh, do I have to call first?"
"Yea, I forgot! My numbers, 417-827-3659."
"Okay, see you later!"

Thirty minutes later Sophia and her parents reached their hotel. Sophia got her own room, and her parents wern't going to be there, so going over to Gerard's place shouldn't be that hard.

After her parents left Sophia did too. She walked down the lobby, almost reaching the door someone grabbed Sophia's arm, very tightly. She spun around, as far as she could, and saw a pale face, scraggly blonde hair, and filthy clothes.

"Where do you go?" She asked, her voice raspy.
"I go to the Manor next door."
"The witches spell is there! Stay away, stay away!"

Suddenly the manager grabbed the old woman and threw her out on the street, yelling to stop coming into the hotel and frightening the guests.

Sophia carefully ran outside and to Gerards manor. She ran up the steps to his do. Thirty steps she counted, and just to his door? She saw the huge brass ring that she supposed she should nock on the door with. The she noticed the doorbell.

A butler came to the door.

"Ma'am?" He said.
"I'm looking for Gerard."
"Ah, you must be Sophia Ledger."
"Yep, oh 'yes'." She said feeling impolite using common slang around such a proper man.

Gerard appeared over his sholder.

"Here he is." The butler said promptly leaving.

Gerard had an unusually large grin on his face.

"Are you okay?" Sophia asked.
"Yea, I'm just happy because I beat him at Guitar Hero!"
"Guitar Hero?"
"Yea, you see it's this game where you play a mini guitar an-"
"Gerard I know what it is." Sophia said interupting him.
"Well, don't just stand come in and follow me!" Gerard said with high energy.

 Gerard led Sophia to  the first room, that was about ten feet from the door.
