(Sarah’s POV)

My best friend, Brittany and I walk out of school, I give her a hug before she walks to her blue, 2007 of Suv car.

“See you tonight, Brittany” I shout at her when she gets in her blue car. She looks at me.

“Yeah, see you, too!” She shouts back at me, I chuckle as I watch her to drive away here. I walk to the corner of door. I grab my cell phone out of my purse to check it if my boyfriend did text me. There no message from him, I sight. I wave to my friends who they are on their ways to their cars, I look at my cell phone for time, and it is 2:25 P.M.

“Brain...comes on.” I mumble to myself, I lean back on the school wall, and I look around at the park.

“Hey Sarah.” Someone talk to me by behind me. Oh, it must be Brain.

“Hey Bra-” I began to speak when I turn around, and I see John, not Brian. “Oh I’m sorry.  Hey John.” I blush when I almost say Brian’s name, “I thought you are Brian but it was not you. I am so-” John cut me when he put his hand on my left shoulder.

“No, it is okay. I know that happened when people thought that was person but it was not. Its okay, Sarah.” he smile at me, I smile back. He removes his hand off on my left shoulder.

“Thanks.” I look away from him and look at the park, there still no sign of Brian. “What are you doing here,” I questioned, I look at him.

“Well…” he chuckle,  “you know that we just talk, I guess.” I chuckle when he say in last sentence. “What about you, Sarah?”

“I am waiting for my boyfriend, Brain. He suppose be here at 2:20. But I have no idea where he is.” I look at the floor, I sight then I look at the park, there is still no sign of him.

“Oh. I am sorry.” He give me a hug, “Don’t worry, he will be here by about soon.” I nod, he lets me go. I look at my cell phone, and it is 2:40. I notice that John starts to walk away from me. What if Brain doesn’t show up, and then who will drive me to home? Wait a minute, maybe John can.

“Hey John!” I shout at him, he stops to walk, and turns around to me.

“Yeah?” he answers to me.

“If he doesn’t show up then can you give me a drive?” I bite my lips, I don’t know if he would.

“I don’t mind.” He smiles, walks to me. I smile back him.

“Thanks.” I still smile, he nods to me. He begins to speak but my cell phone start to ring with ringtone, “Boyfriend” by Ashlee Simpson.

“Ha, Ha, Ha,
Ha, Ha, Ha,

Whatcha been doin'? Whatcha been doin?
Whoa, Whoa,
Haven't seen ya 'round,

How you been feelin'? How you been feelin'?
Whoa, whoa,
Don't you bring me down.”

I grab my cell phone, it says “Unknown ID,” I say to John that I have to take that phone, and I start to speak on my phone.

“Hello?” I am waiting for someone’s answer to me.

“Sarah? This is Brian. I am so sorry that I can’t come and pick you up. I have dentist appointment.” Brian answers to me. I am very confused when he says that.

“It’s okay.” My voice breaks, John catch me to be sad.

“Thanks. Bye.” The line is cutting out. I put my cell phone away. I look at John with my sad and confused face.

“What’s wrong? Who was on phone?” He asks me. I look at him, I sniffs, and I look away from him.

“It was Brian, he told me that he can’t come here…because…he has dentist appointment.” I shake my head, “that’s possible…he told me that he don’t have any plan today.” I feel something on my right shoulder I look at John who his hand is on my right shoulder.

“Oh, I see that. Come on, let’s go your house.” He says in sweet voice. I nod. His arm put around my shoulder while we walk to his black, 2007 Cadillac Escalade Truck.

“Nice truck, John.” I am really amazing that he have a hot truck. He is laughing.

“Thanks.” He open the truck door for me, I bow to him, and then I sit on the passenger seat. He close the door, he is walking to driver seat, he open the door, and then sit on the driver seat. He look at me before he begin to speak. “Why you don’t have any car?” He curious to ask me, he start the truck.

“Well… I am grounded and my boyfriend, Brian do pick and drop me off.” I look at him, he is driving, damn…he is cutie.

“Oh. Why you are grounded?” he grimace me while he is driving, I sight.

“Because…I flunked that Geometry class. My parents got angry with me about it.” He laughs, he catches me when I give him of my “what the f…” expression face.

“I’m sorry.” He still laughs. “I can’t believe that your parents gave you a grounded…oh hey, where is your house?” I look at the road, I notice that is near my house.

“There.” I point to my house, he drive there where I point to. We are arriving at my house. “Thanks for drive.” I smile at him, I almost get out of truck but he grab my arm, I look at him.

“When will you get off grounded?” I am glad that he ask me.

“Until I pass that stupid Geometry class. That’s what my dad said.”

“Oh. Hey, I can help you. You know that I am smart at that class.” He smiles at me, I smile back to him, and I nod. I wave him to bye, he drives away from here. I walk to my house, open the door.

“MOM! DAD! I AM HOME!” I shout in my house, I run up stair, then into my room.
