Chapter 11

The next morning, I lie in bed with Tanner and his arms wrapped around me. I was great for the comforting, but thinking about Jesse kissing me last night, just made everything feel so wrong. It was like I was starting to feel affection for Jesse, but was unsure. Yes, I liked the kiss, but I didn’t want to tell him that. I should’ve just pushed him away from the start, but that would have been rude.

Jesse has always been a great friend. I’ve always had a crush on him and Travis growing up and they knew it too. But ever since I had started dating Tanner, it’s been different.

“Morning sleepy-head,” Tanner awoken.

“Hey,” I whispered, as my voice sounded a little more groggy than usual.

“I’m sorry about last night. I got a little knocked off rocker yesterday. It was totally uncalled for I know.” Tanner apologized.

Yeah, and so was that kiss, but I am really not that angry about it anymore. It was just a fluke thing. Shit happens, right?

“You know I don’t forgive you for it. I never will, just calm your actions a bit, ok? Or is that too much to ask for?” I retorted.

Tanner didn’t say anything, so I sighed loudly and walked over to my bag of clothes and grabbed a few things and paced into the bathroom to grab a quick shower. Then, I locked the door behind me

When I first turned on the water and got in, the water was ice cold and I screamed. I heard all three of the guys rushing at once to the door to see what was wrong. I half laughed to myself.

“I’m ok guys. The water was just ice cold, sorry.” I giggled.

I heard all three of them laugh, but the water was still ice cold. I could barely shower it was just too cold. I managed to get one though. I hopped out and wrapped a big white towel around me. The bathroom was cold too. I hate hotels, ya know?

I changed around and realized when pack my clothes, I just took the first thing I saw, cause I grabbed a jeans mini skirt and a camouflage shirt, which was sort of loose on me. Normally when I’m with the guys I don’t bring a mini skirt, because I’m more tomboyish, but it doesn’t matter any way. I quickly use the hair dryer and dry my hair little, but it always seems to make it frizzier, so I just stopped. I unlocked the door and walked out, sitting on my bed for everyone else to get done with their showers.

As soon as every one of us was done and out of the shower, we kept bickering on what we were going to do today. It was pretty pathetic. It was really of our routines we do; it was dumb but we did it a lot.

“How ‘bout we just go site seeing?” I suggested. “So we can stop the arguing already.”

And we agreed, finally. I put on my cowgirl boots, which went below my knees and we were off and rushing downstairs, pushing each other out of the way, as we were racing to the car. Even though everyone was staring at us and Travis almost ran into the cleaning lady, we were just having fun.

“Haha I bet you all!” I shouted.

“Yeah, you win even if you have those boots on.” Travis stated.

I laughed. “I’m just talented is all.”

Now what truly made me feel uneasy was that Travis was driving instead of Jesse and Jesse was sitting in the back with me, which lead to Tanner sitting in the passenger seat. (lol sorry if that was confusing.) I didn’t mind, but after last night, I felt uncomfortable.

“Where should I go?” Travis asked.

“I don’t know what around here. You and Jesse know better than I do. I’ve never been here in my life. You two have been here most of you childhood.” I explained.

“Well, then it’ll be a surprise.” Travis replied.

“Oh my gosh! I just love surprises you know?” Jesse said sarcastically with such a gay voice.

We all cracked up laughing. I mean it was just too hilarious not to. So, we were on our way to a place I’ve never seen before.
