Miranda's father, George, was taking us home that night. I didn't want anyone else to notice how depressed I was. As soon as he dropped me off in front of my house, I knew my parents car wasn't in the driveway, just took the house key I left at the back of the house and I walked in, throwing the key on the counter, and ran into my bedroom, shoving my head into my pillow, crying myself to a deep sleep.

~*~*~*~*~*~

I know that sounds so over dramatic over a guy when I was only in middle school at the time, but I just felt like it was the end of the world for me. He was the only guy that asked me out and I end up turning him down, not by myself, but by a bitter friend, Charity was her name and I have nothing to do with her anymore.

~*~*~*~*~*~

As I said in the previous entry, I've been through a lot. And it wasn't just because of a guy; it was because of my friends too.

To most of you, you know that when it's your first year of Jr. High you meet a lot more friends than you did in grade school, right? Heck, you add more friends to your list all the time. And some of you have experienced moving and leaving them behind. Many of you would have told them, but I barely told any.

Once in a while when I'd see them they would be like, "Where have you been?" or "Why haven't you been in school?" then some would end up saying, "Well, I'm glad you're all right." That's what happened to me anyway.

I haven't been at this school for over a year now, so yeah some people don't remember who I am. But what if your best friend(s) forgot you? You guessed it. I was left out by them too.

My bestie Taylor and I were at the town fair, which was about two weeks ago as of today. We were there for about two good hours or so, give or take. Out of say, twenty friends that I saw, only two recognized me, Carlie and Kayla S.

I felt like I could scream in front of thousands that day. I mean one of my first friends, on the first day of middle school didn't even say 'hi' to me. She looked at me, stared awhile and looks away. I don't know if she forgot who I was, or she was just mad at me for not telling her that I was switching schools.

Djshadownite With a small school like mine (I graduated with about 29 people in my class) you'd think that everyone would remember everyone. But some of the guys from my old school i doubt even recognise my friend and me. It's sad, but i get what you're saying.
On September 4th 2008 jirrith2007 Said :
jirrith2007 I don't know about the whole middle school thing. My school is so small, that my class only had about 50-60 people in it, and I ended up graduating w/ 57 people. So small... but I have known most of those people since we started kindergarten together. It's kinda sad, but cool at the same time. I like getting to know more about you :D
