You all know who I am. That lonely girl who had her heart-broken since the 6th grade. That one boy had made my life everything. Cody was his name. We were really close friends when we started Jr. High, but the day that I felt like a total jerk changed everything.

If any of you had read my story Tryin' to Stop Your Leavin', the flashbacks were all true. I did turn Cody down in 6th grade because of a so called 'friend' told him all the lies about him. He gave me his adorable football picture and a lovely valentine letter to me. It was just so romantic you know, and I knew my parents wouldn't let me go out with him, because they are so protective and they wouldn't let me date that young. I don't know what had come over me, but I tore up and threw away the letter and picture. I mean I was so nervous and so scared about all that, because no one had ever asked me out or had told me how much they liked me.

Ever since that day, I regret every minute of it; And things just don't happen twice. Once you've made the mistake, there is no turning back. And now that I don't go to that school anymore, most likely I wouldn't see him again. A couple months ago, I was wrong. I did see him again, but it wasn't anything I had expected.

My name is Kayla, age 14 and now a freshman in school and this is my life story on how heart-broken I really am. Along with my life on with my friends and family...
