Chapter 6
~ Ashley's POV:
"Jake, what would he be doing with all that money?" I asked.
"I don't know for sure, but it sounds like he's tied into drugs." he replied.
"I have to go in there," I demanded.
"No, you can't! If you would go in there, that's it. That person in there with Kenny could kill you for listening in. They don't want anyone to know because they could have the cops come in and arrest them." Jake explained.
"Then, what do we do?"
The bedroom door creeked open and I saw Kenny there. He was a little shocked, plus he was nervous.
"What are you two doing up here?" Kenny questions.
"We'd like to say the same thing." I said.
"Who's in there with you?" Jake asks.
"No one, why?" he stuttered.
Jake pushed him out of the way to look around.
"Hey," Kenny said. There was no one in the room. Odd? We both heard and saw him talking to two people did we not? Were we just hearing and seeing things? No, we couldn't have.

~ Kenny's POV:
"I swear there was someone else in here with you." Ashley said, scratching her head.
"No, I was on the phone though." I told them.
This was crazy. I couldn't lie to my friends like this, but if they would find out what I'm doing and who I'm drug dealing with, my life is over and possibly all my friends too.
"Well, sorry for budding in then," Jake apologized.
"Yeah sorry; we better get back down to the party." Ashley replies.
"Yeah I'll be down in a second." I told them, as they walk out the door closing the door behind them.
"Dat waz close," Hector said, as him and Elyse came out of the closet.
"Yeah, it was," I reply. "I'm sorry about that."
"No dat's fine. Just remember, if they tell a soul about dis, they are both dead, even you." he grinned, walking out the door, with Elyse alongside of him.
What am I going to do? I hate lying to my friends, but I don't want them rambling on about what I'm doing and end up calling the cops on Hector, then we all would get hurt. The only reason why I'm doing this, is because he threatened to bring back Ashley's ex boyfriend from prison and that wouldn't be a pretty reunion let me tell you.

Don't be so focused on making it "First person prespective". Branch it out and just keep it as "Third person omeincent", in other words just have like god looking down on these characters and telling the reader what they are thinking and doing. It's alot easier that way instead of switching between "POV" ever few paragraphs which is something actual writers avoid like the plague. |
