Chapter 5

~ Kenny's POV:

I stood in my place, watching Elyse and her brother Hector walk up to me. I was a little uneasy around them at first, but I tried to calm down.

"Kenny," Hector said, giving me a high-five.

Hector was a drug dealer. The only reason why I'm with him, is because I want to protect Ashley and her friends. Hector threatens people if he doesn't get what he want right away. His younger sister, Elyse, is just his sidekick. She's helps him here and there, but he likes doing it all by himself.

"I didn't think you'd be here." I told them.

"Me? Miss out on a party from a friend? No way!" Hector said, smiling, but it was more of an evil grin. "Ya don't have the money yet do ya?" he added.

"Yeah, follow me."

I show Hector and Elyse into the house, where no one was at, because the were all outside. I lead them up to my room and I grab a suitcase full of money and handed it to Hector.

~ Ashley's POV:

Once Kenny walked away from me, I was kind of surprised.

"What up with him?" I asked Jake, who was standing right beside me, along with Tia, as we both watched him talk to someone, who I've never seen before.

"Beats me," he replied.

I watched as took the two people inside the house obviously to get something.

"I'm going to follow him." I insisted.

"What why?" Jake said.

"Something's not right and I want to know what's going on. Tia you stay here, so if Kenn wouldn't find us, he wouldn't think that we left, ok? Jake follow me." I explained.

Jake and I went into the house tip-toeing through it. We heard voices inside and I assumed it was Kenny and who ever the other people were. We went upstairs slowly, but I don't think they could hear us from all the loud music outside. I knew where Kenny's room was from being around here a lot when we were younger and the door was shut. I pressed my ear up against the door to listen in, as Jake stood behind me.

"Here you go," Kenny said.

"Dis all of it?" a mans voice asked.

"Yep, all 200 million of it," Kenny replies.

"Hector, what are ya gonna to do with all the money?" a female's voice wondered.

"Dat's none of ya buisness," he said to her.

I look back at Jake. He heard every last word that I did.

"Where did Kenny get that much money?" I whispered to Jake, hoping no one would hear me.

"I don't know, he said he was doing some job down town, but he never said what it was." he responds.

"200 million just on a job?"

"Hey I don't know anything, honest. I know as much as you do." he told me.

Questions race through my mind. I was bound to know what Kenny was doing. Kenny, why in the world would you have that much money on just a job? What kind of job is the question?
