Chelsea's POV:

Matt and I were at the MountainView Hospital on 3100 N Tenaya Way in Las Vegas. We were waiting for the doctor to tell us if we can go and see Jamie or not, from being shot by Joe. Speaking of Joe, the security did find. They threw him in jail and that's where he needed to go.

"Are you alright?" Matt asked me, as he was sitting to the right of me in big brown cushion chairs.

"Yeah I'm fine," I replied, and he didn't say anything else.

About five minutes later, the doctor came over to us and told us we can see Jamie. We both got up and went to his room. He was lying on the bed holding his shoulder. I could tell he was still in a lot of pain.

"Hey," I said.

"Hey," he replies.

"How you feelin'?" I asked him.

"Not bad, just feel a little drowzy." he smiles. "Matt do you mind if I talk with Chelsea alone for a sec?"

I turned around to face Matt. He nodded.

"I'll be out here if you need me." Matt stated, as he kissed me on the cheek and walking out the door, closing it quietly. I walked over to Jamie and sit down in one of the chairs by the window.

"So, what did you want to tell me?" I questioned.

He moved over on one side to talk to me (opposite of where he got shot.)

"Chelsea, I know you're with Matt now. I accept that. Even though I did get to show you that I've changed, I still want you back, but I won't do anything to hurt you or take you away from the one you love. And that's a promise." Jamie said, feeling uncomfortable for a moment.

I look at him and grab his hand, looking him in the eyes.

"Jamie, you have already showed me that you have changed. You risked your life practically just to save mine. when you were on drugs, you probably wouldn't have cared. I believe that you have changed and I'm glad you understand that I'm with Matt." I smiled back at him.

"Wow, I never really gave that a thought. We can still be friends though, right?" he asks.

"Of course," I stated.

I pushed myself off the chair and walked over to give Jamie a hug.

"Hey, hey! Watch the shoulder," he said, jokingly, as I slapped him, not hard, on his good shoulder. "Thanks, now I'll have two bad shoulders." he smirked.

"Yeah, ok;" I grinned.

Matt's POV:

As I walked out of the door, I sat down in the waiting room again. I felt a little uneasy with Chelsea being in the same room as Jamie, but I tried to put that behind me, as I got a phone call. I took my phone out of my back pocket. My phone didn't have caller ID, so I had no idea who it was, but I answered it anyway.

"He-llo?" I greeted.

"Matt? We need to talk." they said to me. I wasn't sure who it was though, but it sounded like a woman's voice.

"Wait! Who is this?" I asked.

"Matt, it's Katie," she said, sternly.

My eyes widened.

"What do you want?" I sneered.

"I want you to have full custody of Marie, (the baby). No doubts about it." she said.

"But why?" I question to her.

"Because I don't want my baby to have to go through going to her mom's without her real dad, or the other way around. I want her to have a real family and I think that you and Chelsea would take great care of her." she stated.

I smiled. "Alright, so when do we have to sign the papers and stuff?" I ask.

"As soon as possible," she replied.
