Matt looks over to the clock on the nightstand. 5:39. Damn, time flies fast around here. 

"Chelsea," Matt whispered, shaking her shoulder her, gently, trying to wake her up.

"Huh, what?" she groaned tossing her head back and fourth.

"I have to go, but I hope to be back soon though, ok?" he said.

"Alright, let's meet up at the beach sometime after six-thirty," she replied, getting up off  the bed. Matt grabbed a navy blue shirt out from his bag and slipped it over his head. He grabs his keys and they both head out for the door. Matt offers to to take Chelsea home, but she decides she can just drive herself.

Once Matt got to the beach, he walks around the pier and across the sand. Nobody he knew was around, so he just sat down on the sand, until some comes up from behind him and yells, "It's about time you got here. I was worried you wouldn't show."

He turns around. There stands a (wavy) strawberry blonde, who was really skinny with deep hazel eyes.

"Katie, what the hell are you doing here?" Matt asks, getting up off the ground. "How did you know I was here?"

"I have people, babe. I've got people." she replied, as two of Matt's friends from back home came up behind her.

"Joe? Tyler? Why are you two here?" he questions, getting a little worried in what's going to happen.

"Don't worry about them. This is about what happened back home." she says, sounding so sure.

"What about it?"

"You broke my heart. How could you break up with me and come all the way out here. To forget me?"

"Yeah, that's exactly what I'm doing. I'm movin' on. I don't need you. I've found someone else and she has a bigger heart than you ever will." Matt sneers.

Katie slaps him hard across the face. "Don't you dare say that. The only reason why I cheated on you in the first place is because you've acting different." she grins.

"It's all because of you. I can't even look at you." he replied.

"Well I guess your old friends are gonna have to teach you a lesson." she smirked.

Joe and Tyler charged after Matt, pinning him to the ground, as one of them were about to punch him in the stomach, but he pulled away from their gasp and start attacking Joe, but Tyler comes up from behind Matt and grabs his arms and pins him down into the sand. Joe start kicking him in the stomach and throw punches left and right.

"Alright that enough boys, let's get the hell outta here." she said, as they ran away. Matt lies in the sand, helpless; no one around to help him until he hears a faint familar voice, calling out his name. He looks around, but his vision is blurry, until the figure got closer to him.

"Matt, what happened to? Who did this to you?" she said.

"Chelsea... I need to tell you something and you're not going to like it." he says, softly.

She stares at him blankly. What is he talking about? She thought.
