Getting Home Wasn't the Thought

Bleeding Tears: Chapter Five

Romance Created on 6-17-07 Views(53) Story Rating G

When we got to school it was 7:00am. I walked to my locker and then to my first hour class, Physical Education or P.E. I changed quickly in the locker room so no girls would ask me questions about my new cuts. They were still able to be seen. I walked out and told my teacher to please excuse me if I don’t do my best.

“I understand.” She told me. My gym teacher once used to be evil to me, but I think she knows what’s going on in my life. She sees my bruises and cuts, so she understands now. I waited on the line alone waiting for the bell to ring. I saw Toluse walk over to his line along with Derek. They waved to me and I waved back, even though my arm was killing me. Soon as time passed everyone began to show for there lines. Roxie walked out and waited for Christian by the boy’s locker room door. Everyone on my line teased me as they walked by me to get to the line, even Grete.

I began to feel depressed again. Christian finally came out of the locker room. Roxie swarmed him and hugged him. He waved over to me with a worried look and then grabbed Roxie’s hand as she squealed. The most annoying sound every, more annoying knowing he’s giving her more attention. Why was he holding her hand though? As I block the volley balls the class is throwing at me, out of sheer torture on my arms for blocking, Mrs. Franklin walked out and had stopped my fellow classmates from abusing me with the balls. She excused me to clean up the blood peaking throw the now open wounds on my arms as she had taken roll. We started practicing on serves with a partner. Grete would normally be my partner, but today she decided to be some one else’s partner. Since our class has an odd number of students, I worked with Mrs. Franklin. After P.E. I changed and headed to History, 2nd hour class. I sat in the back corner as usual. Mr. Benton was to drunk to take roll so he had us write an assignment on alcohol. Derek moved to the desk next to me with a frown as Grete took the desk in front of me, both of them cornering me as to no escape of their cruel game.

“Hey did you hear the news yet?” Grete asked.

“I don’t care, leave me alone….” I reply while reading my book, Beauty in Death

“Christian and Roxie are hanging out more!” Grete yelled with a demon smile on her face while Derek shared the shame on his. I suddenly felt like my heart was ripped out. I was so horrible I couldn’t explain how bad it felt. I told them to leave me alone, once again after hearing this. The rest of the day I planned on digging deeper in my wrist tonight. I walked over to Pearl Park. On accident I caught Roxie and Christian there. She was sitting on his lap with her arms around his neck, and his arms wrapped around her waist. They were making out; I started to cry and ran home. I bumped into Toluse on the way home and fell onto the ground.

“Why are you crying, Jamie?” He asked me as he bent down to see me eye to eye.

“It’s because of Christian and Roxie, I-I-I…” I shoved myself into his arms and cried on his shoulder. His arms were shaking, like no one’s ever hugged him. I didn’t care, I needed a hug. He hugged me back after a few seconds
