I was born 500 years after IT came to power. It is a giant, cyborgnic Hawk known only as '824'. It now keeps the world in eternal darkness, bringing pain and misery to all it sees. It is something that none of us can defeat, for its powers seem to be limitless.
I am the last of my kind, a breed of people known as 'Genetons'. To be more specific, I'm an Electrode, which means I have various kinds of electric based powers. The pack I lived in was destroyed when I was only a baby. I survived only because my mother had placed me in a basket and hid me. A few years after that, I came searching for them and found they were all killed by that monster, 824.
Now, the only way I survive is by working with a society known as the 'GHA', though I'm not sure what that even stands for. But with their super advanced weapondry and my powers, I've been able to help others being attacked by 824. However, once I rescue them and nurture them back to health, I must erase their memories. People are weak. I cannot risk the location of my base be known to any one.
If only there was a way to stop this monster. If this goes on much longer, life will soon cease to exist on Earth, no, the entire universe! 824 is a ruthless monster. I know he will not stop once he's finished with our home world. He will go from planet to planet until all life has been burned. Only I can stop him. Only I have the power. I am the last Geneton. I am Simon.
Simon was hovering over the burning remains of NYC, searching for any suvivors. "Damn. None of them!" He exclaimed. He heard the familiar roar of 824, and he quickly flew away. He entered his old beat up house and quickly locked the door behind him.
"Well well well, It's about time you showed up!" A voice said from behind him. Simon quickly spun around and saw a man leaning on the wall behind him. "Who are you? How did you get in here?" Simon asked as he generated 2 balls of electriciy in his hands. "Now now, don't be so hasty! I have information you may find interesting!" The man exclaimed. "What kind of information?" Simon asked. "Simple: Information that, if used properly, could stop this whole thing from happening." The man answered. "You mean... the destruction of this planet? It can be stopped?" Simon asked, not believing what he was hearing. "Not stopped. If you do this right, you can prevent it from ever beginning in the fist place. 824 will never come to power and this world shall be saved." Simon thought to himself, "I have no idea who this guy is, nor do I trust him... but if he says he can destroy 824, then, like it or not, I have to believe him. I know the odds of him being correct are 10 trillion to 1, but those are better odds than me trying to stop 824 right here and now." "What do you plan to do?" Simon asked.
"There is, no, WAS a man, named Will. Like you, he was an Electrode and had a strong sense of justice. He lived around the time that 824 came to power. He and his friends tried to stop 824 before he got too powerful. They almost succeeded, but their best just wasn't good enough." The man explained. "So? What's that got to do with now?" Simon asked. "There are stones known as the Omni Topazes. A single one of these stones has more power than the sun. 7 exist in the world. Will and his best friend, Erik, tried to use the stones to defeat 824. They failed. However, they got very close." The man said. "That doesn't answer my question. How does this all relate to me? It all happened over 500 years ago!" Simon exclaimed. "Yes, but the stones still exist. If you can find them, you can use them to travel back in time to that fateful day when Will and Erik almost defeated 824. Then, the 3 of you can use the Omni Topazes from the past AND the present Topazes to destroy 824!" The man exclaimed.
"I see. And do you have these 'Omni Topazes'?" Simon asked. "I have one. Here. Take it." the man said. He pulled a green stone out of his pant pocket. "The other 6 look exactly the same accept for their color. Their colors are: Red, Yellow, Orange, Blue, Silver, and Black. Find them, and you can stop 824 from ever destroying this world." The man explained.
"I want to believe you. I want to believe it could be that simple. I want to believe that these stones can help me stop 824. But I don't. It's all far too incredible. To think that none of this could ever happen... It's madness." Simon said. "You don't have to believe me. Think of it this way: if I'm wrong, than no matter what you do, you're screwed. However, if I'm right, then you can either die by not doing anything or you can save this world by acting. You have NOTHING to lose by searching for these stones. You have everything to lose if you do nothing." The man reasoned.
Simon hesitated and then said, "Fine. I'll find your stones for you. Where can I find the others?" Simon asked. "The Topazes give off a powerful energy field. Use this." The man said as he handed over a black cylinder. "When one is close, the stick will glow a dark shade of purple. As you get closer, it'll start to turn blue. Closer still, and it will begin to glow green, then yellow, then orange, and finally red. Once it turns red, the Topaz will be within 2 feet of you." The man explained. Then why isn't it glowing red right now? You've got a Topaz and you're only a couple feet away!" Simon exclaimed. "That's because it's all ready found the green Topaz. Once it comes in physical contact with a Topaz, the glowing will stop." The man answered. "Okay then. Here's the plan. You keep the Topaz here. I'll find the other 6 and bring them here. Then, I use their power to go back in time and fight along side Will and Erik." Simon said. "Very well. Go." The man replied. He placed the stone on the floor and vanished. "Huh? Where'd he go?" Simon asked, turning his head in all directions. "Well, I suppose I'll have to find those Topazes." Simon said.
