... Jane. "Jane? What are YOU doing here?" Will asked. "Just wanted a wee chit chat is all." Jane replied. "If you're gonna bitch at me again, you can forget it." Will said. "I ain't gonna be bitchin at ya, I just wannted ta talk." Jane stated. "We have nothing to talk about. I hate you, you hate me. That's how it works." Will told her. "I wanted ta say I'm sorry fer..." Jane began. "Being a bitch? An ingrateful, nagging, self centered bitch?" Will asked. Jane sighed and said, "Ya. Sorry." She got up and headed for the door. "Wait!" Will exclaimed. "What?!?" Jane practically shouted, spinning to face Will. "Don't be sorry. I'm a violent, yelling, pig headed ass hole." He answered. Jane smiled, sat down next to him and said, "Thanks fer savin me." "I've been waiting for that all day!" Will exclaimed. Jane playfully punched him and said, "Don't push it." "Soooooo... does this mean we don't dispise each other's guts anymore?" Will asked. Jane rolled her eyes, smiled, and said, "Maaaaaaybe." She then got up and left the room.
Will flopped back onto his bed. O: I'm proud of you, Will. I know you, that must've been REALLY tough to admit your flaws. ; Eh, what can I say? Overall, it's better this way. Working with her is gonna be MUCH easier. And besides, she still digs me. ; Some things NEVER change. Good night, Will. ; Night, Ozad. Afterwards, he fell asleep.
The next day, Will was woken up by Erik. "Morning, pip squeek." Will said as he jumped out of bed. "IT ISN'T MY FAULT!!!" Erik complained. "I know, I know, it's a birth defect. It's just so hard to take you seriously because you still look as though you haven't even gone through Puberty." Will replied as he chuckled. "Ugh... don't remind me." Erik said. The 2 of them left the Geneton Base and met with the other 5 at the ship. "By the way, Erik, did you ever come up with a name for this thing?" Will asked. "Well... I was thinking of 'Nova Dodger', because it's fast enough to actually get out of the way of a super nova." Erik answered. "Cool. All right, let's go! We'll see how tough the General's giant robot really is!" Will exclaimed. Erik jumped into the pilot's seat, seeing as he was the only one short enough to fit in the cockpit, and the others got into the passenger section. In a moment, the ship was soaring through the air towards the coming armada.
The fleet still looked pretty beaten up from yesterday. The ships had arranged a full sphere around the mother ship, but they were spread out pretty thin. "Let's go. Everybody ready?" Will asked. "As ready as we'll ever be." Taylor answered. "We got your back." Tyler said. "Let's kick some ass!" Erik exclaimed. "Yeah!" Serenity chimmed in. "YEE-HAW!!!" Jane shouted. Everyone looked at her strangely. She just shrugged. "What, no words of encouragement from you?" Will asked Kayla. "Woopee." She said monotonously. "Same ol' Kayla." Will said. The Nova Dodger slipped past the smaller ships easily and landed safely on the mother ship... or perhaps, not so safely. A giant fighting robot was waiting for them.
The 7 of them got out of the ship and Will said, "Serenity, stay here and watch the ship." "Watch the ship? But... but... but..." Serenity complained. "What's a scentoid gonna do? Scare the robot with a terrible odor? Robots can't smell anything." "Oh, I see." Serenity said. She walked over to the side of the ship and punched it. "You dented the Nova Dodger!" Erik exclaimed. "Wait, wasn't that thing built to survive being hit by high speed commets?" Will asked. "May I come with you guys?" Serenity asked as sweetly as possible. She gave will Bambi eyes and held her hands together. "Oh, all right." Will said. "YAY!" Serenity exclaimed. She hugged Will and whispered in his ear, "I'll be sure to 'serve' you later. My way of saying thanks." "For the last time, I am NOT having sex with you! I refused 20 years ago and I'm refusing now." Will whispered back. Serenity released him and walked over to Taylor and told him who knows what. "What a slut..." Will mumbled under his breath.
Suddenly, a familiar voice said, "Well well well, if it isn't you 7. Haven't seen you all in a while." It was the General. Everyone turned to face him. He was speaking through the giant robot he was in. "General, you haven't retired yet? You're what, 70 now?" Will asked. "Regardless! I will NOT rest until all you scum are wiped away!" The General announced. "In your DREAMS, General!" Will exclaimed. "Oh please, give up now. You'll just make fools of yourselves." The General said. "I think you've got that backwards." Will replied. He raised one hand above his head, and a bolt of lightning came down from the clouds above. However, just before the bolt hit the robot, 3 spheres glowed red on it's head and the bolt was deflected at Serenity. "Did you really think I wasn't prepared for that? Wow, this is too easy! 1 down all ready!" The General exclaimed. "Oh really?" Jane asked. She pointed at Serenity's corpse, and all the wounds vanished. Then, she got up and said, "Wow, that was a shock!" "DUH!!!" Everyone shouted. Will grabbed Taylor and Tyler by the arms. "Erik, take Serenity and get her to the red sphere on the left. I'll take Taylor and Tyler to the right and top. We've got to destroy those spheres! Kayla, cover us." Will explained the plan. Erik turned himself and Serenity into sparks, and the 5 of them charged at the robot. The General fired all sorts of missiles and guns at them, but each was taken out by a fireball from Kayla. "Nice aim." Jane once said to her. "Whatever." Kayla replied. Every once in a while, a missile would explode a bit too close to someone and do some critical damage. However, when that happened, Jane was ready.
Finally, after what seemed like hours, but was actually less than a minute, The 5 of them got to the robot. Erik flew up to the sphere on the right, turned Serenity back to her normal form, and she punched the sphere as hard as she could. It shattered, sending glass, metal, and wires to fly everywhere. Will jumped up onto the robot's arm, then to the sphere on the left. Taylor shaddered it with his drills/hands. Will then jumped on top of the robot's head and Tyler did the same. "DAMN IT!" The General shouted. The robot shook around a bit, sending all of them flying. (accept for Erik, who was still in spark form.) Jane healed them from the damage they suffered from the fall, as well as Serenity's bleeding fists. (If you punched glass, you're fists would be bleeding, too!) "Okay, guys! Go all out!" Will shouted. Everyone charged at the robot, accept for Jane who stayed behind so she could heal them without being in harm's way. Kayla was blasting fireballs, Taylor, Tyler and Serenity were punching/drilling the crap out of the robot's legs, and Will and Erik with zapping it like crazy. The robot withstood all this somehow, and managed to fire a few dozen missiles. A lot of them hit, but hey, that's what Jane's for.
Finally, the robot got smart and fired a missile or 2 at Jane. Will saw this, and struck them both down with lightning. After a few minutes, the robot finally came down. "WOO!!!" Everyone shouted, accept for Kayla. "whatever." was all she said. Will walked over to the wreckage and saw the General's motionless body. It was now all mechanical accept for the head. (Which had 2 robotic eyes and 1 robotic ear.) "You're not fooling me, this time, General." Will said. He generated a dagger of pure electricity and sliced off his head. "Good luck coming back from the dead NOW." Will said. He was about to walk away, but suddenly, a robotic arm/vacuum thingy shot out from the wrechage and clinged on to Will's face. Will tugged on it and it gave up. "What was that all about?" He asked. "Most likely some weapon that the General had that was accidentally activated when the thing blew up." Erik answered. O: I don't know about that... ; What is it, Ozad? ; I just get the feeling that our little furry friend is back. ; 824? ; Yes. I sense him SOMEWHERE. ; That ain't good. ; *gasp* You actually BELIEVE me! You always think I'm being too paranoid about stuff like this! ; You've been right WAAAAAY too many times. ; Ah, I see.
Will walked back to the other 6 and said, "824 is here, somewhere." "WHAT?!?" Everyone shouted in unison. Even Kayla. "That's impossible!" Erik exclaimed. "Apparently not. Ozad says so." Will said. "We should find him. Quickly, before he finds us." Serenity said. "Ya, that could only mean trouble." Jane agreed. "Everyone split up. Shout if you see him." Will told the others. They all seperated and began the search for the little furry fiend.
As Will was searching, he heard a sort of pounding sound. He turned his head and saw a big metal box about the size of a garage. "What's that?" Will asked to noone in particular. He walked over to the box and asked, "Anyone in there?" A voice shouted in responce. It was gargled by the metal, but was obviously a cry for help. "GUYS! THERE'S SOMEONE IN TROUBLE OVER HERE! TAYLOR! TYLER! SERENITY! ERIK! KAYLA! JANE!" Will shouted. Everyone came running over. "In here! Someone's trapped!" Will exclaimed. All accept Jane punched at the metal with fists of flames/electricity/drills or just plain fists. Finally, a hole was made in the metal room. Inside was...
... The general! "WHAAAAAAAAAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?" Everyone shouted. "But I just... How did you... You were... WHAT'S GOING ON?!?" Will asked. "What are you talking about? where are we?" The General asked. "You don't know? This is the main battle ship of YOUR armada!" Erik exclaimed. "I don't have an armada, though it'd be sweet if I did." The General said. "HUH?!?" "I honestly don't know what you 7 are talking about." The General said. "But I just destroyed you and the giant fighting robot you were in!" Will exclaimed. "The Giant Fighting Robot isn't even done yet. What are you talking about?" The General asked. He looked as confused as the 7 did. Taylor grabbed the General by his collar, made his other hand into a drill and said, "You'd better tell us what's going on!" Suddenly, the General got shaky and pointed at something behind them all. At first they thought it was a trap, but suddenly a loud, metallic voice shouted, "ALL LIFE FORMS! BOW TO YOUR NEW MASTER!" Everyone spun around and saw a giant, half robot, half organic hawk flying a few hundred yards away. "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING?!?" Tyler yelled. "Experiment # 824 has finally transformed!" The General announced frantically. "THAT'S 824?!? But he's supposed to be a Ferret!" Will exclaimed. "Exactly why I say 'Transformed'. We designed him to absorb the powers of Genetons. Once he absorbed every type, he would transform into THAT." The General explained. "So wait, why is it transforming right now? There aren't any other Genetons here besides us, and he all ready has all our power. If he absorbed all the Geneton breeds, wouldn't it have happened a while ago?" Serenity asked. Everyone looked at her in shock. "What? I may be stupid, but even I can figure that out." "No. The thing is, Will is a... special breed of Geneton. Something about him makes him different from other Electrodes. 824 needed that something before he could transform." The general explained. "But he's never gotten me before... wait a second... That metallic arm vacuum thing! Could it be that..." Will said. "That's most likely the case." Erik said. "What er we gonna do?!?" Jane asked fearfully. "There's nothing we CAN do. Argh! If only we had the 7 Topazes!" The General exclaimed. The 7 Genetons exchanged hopeful glances. "What are you 7 smiling about? This is not good!" the general exclaimed.
One by one, each of them pulled out the Topaz they'd been holding. "You wouldn't mean THESE Topazes, would you?" Will asked. "What? Impossible! But still, even with the Topazes power, it would take a miracle." The General said. "Just leave that to me, General." Will said. "Will, no." Jane said, hoping he wouldn't try to do this on his own. "I'm coming with you, too!" Erik exclaimed. "Sorry, but you must be THIS tall..." Will began to say. He put his hand high above Erik's head and said, "... To ride THIS ride." "Now you see here! I may be small, but don't forget one thing: We're BOTH Ozadians, not just you. I'm coming with you." Erik said. "... Fine." Will caved. "Be warned: In order to get ALL the energy out of the Topazes, it'll take a bit longer than just activating them on the spot." The General told them. "Okay then. We'll distract 824. That should give you guys plenty of time to get into your Ultra Forms!" Tyler exclaimed. Everyone nodded their head in approval.
"All right then. Let's get ready to do this. We'll show that creep what we Genetons can REALLY do!" Will exclaimed.
