The 6 of us had been driving for 15 hours, and I was getting REALLY tired. Erik had to keep zapping me to keep me awake and even that was beginning to fail. "Guys, I'm gonna pull into the next hotel, ok?" I grumbled. "You sure you wanna do that? Don't forget what happens whenever we stop for too long." Kayla said. "I don't care. We've already shown on many occasions that we can handle the GHA. I need to sleep; otherwise I'll be completely useless." I replied. "I could drive for a while." The little spark that was Erik suggested. "Yeah right. Even when you AREN'T a spark, you're still too short." I argued. "No I'm not!" Erik complained. "I'm barely tall enough and you're a few inches shorter than I am." I retorted. He started mumbling incoherent insults under his breath. "I could take the wheel." Kayla suggested.
We stopped at the nearest gas station and filled up the tank. The other 5 used the rest room and bought some snacks and drinks (and in the case of Serenity and those 2 drilloids {who's names are Taylor and Tyler as I later found out}, condoms, whips, chains, etc.) with Kayla's credit card. I still can't believe that any middle class family would give the 14 year old child have a credit card. As they got everything they needed, I hopped into the passenger seat, adjusted it so I could lie down, and shut my eyes. I heard the others get into the car, and then we drove off towards our destination.

Meanwhile, at the GHA head quarters, several scientists were working around a large tube filled with green liquid. Inside the liquid was the silhouette of a man. "He’s ready!" One of the scientists exclaimed. 2 scientists went to opposite ends of the cylinder and pressed 2 red buttons simultaneously. The green liquid drained. Inside was the General! The very same general that Will had killed before. His chest had been replaced with metal and circuits, and his eye was a glowing red ball. "Welcome back, General." One of the scientists said. "Release me." The General commanded. The 2 scientists pressed 2 green buttons, and the giant tube slid into the floor. "What are your orders, sir?" One of the scientists asked. "Activate experiment # 824." The General commanded. "But sir! It still hasn't been tested!" One of the scientists argued. The General looked at him, grabbed him by the neck, and lifted him into the air. "I GAVE YOU AN ORDER! ACTIVATE EXPERIMENT # 824!" The General shouted. "Okay... okay!" The scientist squealed.
(Will's point of view!)
After a few hours of Kayla driving, something suddenly smashed into the side of the car! "WHAT WAS THAT?!?" Everyone shouted in unison. That woke me up. A few seconds later, there was another crash. This time, the van flipped off of the road and onto its side! I fell on top of Kayla, and Serenity and the drilloids were all over each other in a pile. Erik was fine since he was in spark form. “What just happened?!?” Serenity asked frantically. “I don’t know!” Taylor (or Tyler) exclaimed. “Let’s go see!” I suggested. “Uh…” Was everyone’s response. “One thing that I just thought of: Why don’t we just use that omniscient thing that allows you to teleport to get to Florida?” Kayla asked. “That’s actually a pretty good idea…” I muttered. “Then why don’t we do that?!?” Erik asked. “After we take care of whatever attacked us! We can’t let that thing run free!” I exclaimed. “Okay.” Everyone said.
Whatever it was that had attacked us kept slamming into the bottom of the van. “How do we get out?” Erik asked. Good point. Thanks to gravity, it wouldn’t be easy to open my door, nor would it be easy to open the sliding door. O: Perhaps I could be of assistance? ; Where have YOU been for the last 22 hours? ; In your head, where else? ; Good point. So, what do we do? ; I need your permission to go into Erik’s head. ; One thing I’ve been wondering: Why is it that you only leave me when I say so, and you won’t leave Erik unless I call you? ; As one of the 4 leaders on the 12 Ozadians, I am bound to your orders on that kind of thing. ; Another thing I’ve wondered: What exactly IS an Ozadian? ; All will be revealed. Now, I need your permission to go into Erik’s head. ; Go ahead.
After a few seconds, the spark that was Erik flew into the ignition. “What’s he doing?” Kayla asked. “Not sure.” I replied. “AND CAN YOU GET OFF OF ME?!?” She shouted. “Oh, uh, sorry.” I said, rolling over into whatever space there was that wasn’t on top of Kayla.
Suddenly, the sliding door opened automatically. Outside, I heard Erik exclaim, “Oh yeah! Who’s awesome?!? Awwww… look at the cute little ferret! I think I’ll… AH!!! GET IT OFF ME!!! GET IT OFF ME!!!” What was going on out there? “Erik! Are you all right?!?” I asked frantically. “GET IT OFF OF ME!!!” Erik shouted. Just then, a spark flew into the car. It turned into a giant ferret that clung to the seat! “What IS that?!?” Kayla and I both asked. “What’s what?!? What’s going on?!?” Serenity asked. “Genetons…” The ferret grumbled. “OMNISCIENT SUMMONING!!!” I shouted.
The 5 of us still in the car appeared right next to Erik. Blood and cuts covered his face. “Dude, are you like, alright?” Kayla asked. “I was just attacked by a giant ferret! How are YOU today?!?” Erik retorted. The ferret crawled out of the car and shouted, “GENETONS!!!” “I’LL KILL THAT FERRET!!!” Erik shouted. He turned into a spark, as did the evil ferret. The 2 sparks smashed into each other again and again, releasing billions of little sparks with each collision.
After a few minutes, one of the sparks went flying, turned into Erik, and crashed into the ground. Now the cuts were EVERYWHERE. He moaned in pain, and then fainted. Serenity ran over to him and checked his pulse. “He’s okay, but we need to get him to a hospital!” She exclaimed. “Not now! We need to kill this thing!” I exclaimed. “GEEEENEEEEEEEEETOOOONS!!!!” The Ferret shrieked. “AAAAAH!!! GET IT OFF OF ME!!!” Kayla shouted. I spun to face her and saw that it was attacking her face! I quickly ran over to her, generated a ball of electricity in my hand, and threw the ball at the ferret. It went flying and crashed into the ground. “Thanks.” Kayla grumbled. We all turned to face the ferret.
All of a sudden, it lit its entire body on fire! “WHAT?!?” We all shouted in unison. W: OZAD!!! ; Yes? ; What IS that thing?!? ; GHA experiment # 824. Designed to absorb the powers of Genetons. ; How? ; I’m not sure on all the details, but as far as I know, it does it by attacking the face. ; How do we kill it?!? ; Just go all out, okay? “SHOW NO MERCY!!!” I shouted. Just then, it breathed fire out of its mouth. We were soon all separated from each other by great walls of fire! “Guys! GUYS!!!” I shouted. “Will!” I heard Kayla shout. “AH! GET IT OFF!!! I heard Tyler (or Taylor) shout. Great. It now had electric powers, fire powers, AND drilling powers. Absolutely fantastic.
Then, I heard Kayla scream for a few seconds, and then she was silenced. Serenity screamed, and then was silenced. Taylor and Tyler, same thing. Just then, the creature popped out of the ground. “you… you are different. I desire your power.” It mumbled. “You’ve already got electrode powers!” I exclaimed. “No… you and Erik… you are different breeds entirely. I thirst to have YOUR power… far more than any other Geneton.” It replied. “What did you do to my friends?!?” I asked. “I don’t need them any more… so I disposed of them. They are, after all, Genetons. Abominations!” The ferret exclaimed. It leaped into the air, and…
(3rd person!)
Will lifted on arm and caught the ferret by the face! His eyes glowed a dark shade of silver, and the air around him seemed to writhe in pain. He threw the creature to the ground. “Ah. You see? You are a very powerful Geneton. Can you imagine the destruction I can cause with YOUR power?” It asked. “Can you imagine the AFTER LIFE?!?” Will/Shadow/Flash retorted. He then picked up the creature and launched it into the sky. It soon vanished from site. “Good riddance.” Will muttered.
He then held out his arms so his body was the shape of a ‘t’, and the flames vanished into nothing. He looked in the general direction of his fallen friends, and frowned. His eyes became a lighter shade of silver. They truly were dead. Cuts covered their entire bodies, and they weren’t breathing. He waved his right hand in their direction, and they began breathing again, and Will/Shadow/Flash smiled. His eyes ceased to glow all together, the air calmed down, and he then fainted.

I slowly opened my eyes and saw a girl standing over me. She had brown hair and brown eyes, freckles, and a look of worry. “Oh! Ya’ll awake now!” She exclaimed, and her worry turned into joy. She had a southern accent and speech. “Where am I?” I asked. “Kissimmee, Florida.” She replied. I sat up and shouted, “REALLY?!?” “Quiet! You might wake up yer little friends over yonder!” She said, pointing across the room. I looked, and saw that all of them were sleeping peacefully. “How did we get here?” I asked. “Well, mah family and I, we were on a road trip. We were just passin’ by, and we see all ya’ll snoozin’ in the middle of nowhere!” She exclaimed. “Well, this is convenient.” I said. “And how’s that?” She asked. “Well, we were trying to get to Florida when we were attacked.” I answered. “By who?” She asked. “You wouldn’t believe me.” I replied. “Try me! I’ve seen things ya’ll couldn’t never imagine.” “I’ve seen giant salamanders, T-rexes, and stone stegosauruses.” I retorted. “Ha! That ain’t nothin’! I was just attacked by zombies just a little while ago.” She replied. “How’d you survive?” I asked. “Ya’ll wouldn’t believe me if I told ya.” She said. I created a little spark on the tip of my index finger and said, “Try me.” “Hey! Ya’ll one of them Electro-dudes! We have some of yer kind back at home!” The girl exclaimed. “Wait, there’s a Geneton Base here?” I asked. “Nah, why have a base? We live just ordinary lives, and try to use our little tricks to help society.” The girl replied. “Aren’t you worried about the GHA?” I asked. “Nah! Them’s a bunch a yella bellies!” The girl exclaimed. “So, are you a Geneton?” I asked. “Darn skippy!” She replied. “So, what’s your power?” I asked. “I can heal people.” She answered.
“Oh, wait! I forgot to ask your name! Sorry!” I exclaimed. “Don’t worry yer little head about it. Apology accepted. I’m Jane. Ya’ll got a tag?” She asked. “Will.” I answered. “Well, Will, It’s a mighty fine pleasure meetin’ ya’ll. So, tell me, what is it that attacked all ya’ll back there?” Jane asked. “A giant Ferret.” I replied. She laughed and said, “Well if that ain’t the most ridiculous thing I ever did hear!” “I knew you wouldn’t believe me.” I said. “No, no! I believe ya’ll, it’s just… the idea of a giant ferret attackin’ folks is just so darn funny!” She exclaimed. “It wasn’t when it tried to bite our faces off.” I retorted. “Ah, I’m sorry. But don’t ya’ll worry about that. I already took care of all ya’ll scars and bruises.” Jane said. “Thanks.” I replied.
Once the others woke up, we all made our introductions and said our hellos. After everyone got to know each other, and everything was explained, Jane asked, “So, why all ya’ll coming to Florida, anyhow? Nothin’ here but heat and humidity!” Jane exclaimed. “Why’d YOU come here then?” Erik asked. “Mah folks forcin’ me to go on this darn road trip. We’ll only be here a few days, then we’ll be on the road again!” Jane answered. “Well, we came here because of the space station.” I said. “Why all ya’ll care about that place? I don’t find it much of anything. Just a way to upset the snakes and gators!” “Well, it’s just, we need to get into space.” I continued. “Wait, WHAT?!?” Serenity, Taylor, and Tyler shouted in unison.

lol. not to be mean, but the part where erik opened the van door and found the ferret was kinda funny. hope the writers block is over! |
