"Does anyone find this WAY to ironic?!?" Erik shouted. Giant metal frogs were flying around everywhere, terrorizing everyone! The girl that I'd come to know as Lauren ran up to him and shouted, "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!!" "What?!? How's it my fault?" Erik asked. "You said, and I quote, 'I swear, life has been getting weirder every day since we started this adventure! What next? Flying frogs?' If you hadn't said that, this wouldn't be happening!" Lauren answered. "THAT MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL!!!" Erik shouted. "Neither does anything else that's been happening for the last few days." Lauren replied. "... Damn you and your screwed up logic that somehow makes sense." Erik said after a minute.
People were attempting to burn the frogs, zap the frogs, smash the frogs, etc. I still don't get how they were able to do all the things they were doing. Something about DNA. "Okay, Ozad, how do I make lightning again?" I asked the voice inside my head that I had come to know as Ozad. First, point towards the ground with your right hand. Next, focus your energy on the tip of your finger. After that, point upwards and open up your hand. This will create a large ball of electricity. Repeat the process with your other hand, and then smash the 2 balls together. Ozad explained. I followed his directions exactly, and a bolt of lightning flashed between the balls of electricity and the closest metal frog! It stopped in mid air, and then fell to the ground. "SWEET!!!" I shouted, and repeated the process again and again and again!
"You're enjoying that, aren't you?" Lauren asked, seeing the obviouse look of amazement and amusement. "Yup! YAAAY!!!" I shouted. "EEE!" She exclaimed, and then ran off.
The other genetons had started letting me do all the work, seeing as they couldn't manage to do anything, anyways. Fine by me, that just means I get to do the awesome lightning thingy more! YAAAY!
Eventually, the frogs started getting a bit smarter. Instead of attacking everyone, the all started making their ways towards me. "Oh crap." I muttered. How could I take down all of them at once? It was impossible! "Ozad! What do I do?" I asked, fear filling my voice rather quickly. I don't know! I haven't been in a situation like this before! "Great. Absolutely fantastic." I said. Sarcasm? "Yup." I answered. I did what came naturally: I got into the feeble position and cried as the frogs slowly closed in on me.
Suddenly, an idea hit me like a 10,000 lb anvil. I don't know how I came up with it, it just came to me. I guess you could call it an epiphony. I rose to my feet, and did the usual processes of creating 2 balls of electricity in my hands and smashed them together. However, instead of concentrating on lightning, I concentrated on adding more electricity to the ball. The ball began to expand, pushing my hands apart from each other. The frogs started approaching more slowly, probably wondering, "What is this crazy kid up to?" Honestly, I only half knew the answere to that question.
Eventually, the ball became too large for my hands to support it any longer. I dropped my arms, and the ball landed right on my head. However, instead of frying me to a crisp, it discipated into my body! "Huh?" I asked.
Suddenly, millions of bolts of lightning shot from my body, zapping every single frog at once! "WHOA!!!" Everyone, including me, shouted. Incredible! Never in my life have I seen THAT happen! Ozad exclaimed. I was very proud of myself. "DUDE!!! THAT WAS TOTALLY AWESOME!!!" Lauren shouted in my face, waving her arms in the air like a crazy person. "Did Ozad tell you to do that?" Erik asked. "No, I came up with it myself. Well, not the millions of lightning bolts shooting from my body, but expanding the ball was my idea! I actually managed to impress Ozad!" I exclaimed. "Wow! You managed to impress the former king of ascended beings?!? THAT'S AWESOME!!!" Erik shouted. A girl I had come to know as Serenity approached me and hugged me REALLY hard. "I... can't... breath!" I managed to squeal. "I'll be seeing you, later tonight!" She whispered in my ear, and then ran off. "Uh..." Was all I was able to say. "Slut." Erik mumbled. Lauren smacked him on the back of the head and said, "She is not! She's one of my friends! All she did was hug him!" "Walk up to every electrode and ask about their relationship with Serenity. I'll be accepting your apology after you come back." Erik replied. Lauren looked at him with confusion, then ran off towards an older kid I'd come to know as Lucas, leader of the electrodes.
After about 10 minutes of asking Electrodes what they think of Serenity, Lauren came back and reluctantly said, "Sorry for hitting you on the head." "Didn't I tell ya?" Erik asked, smiling. "Alright, I get it. She's a slut." Lauren said. "Thank you." Erik replied, and then walked off to the Elecrode bedroom, most likely to search for his bed. "Uh, Lauren? What did Serenity mean when she said, 'I'll be seeing you later tonight!'?" I asked. Lauren conked her head with her palm and said, "Just don't let her into your room, alright?" and then she walked off, leaving me looking confused. All the Genetons went into various rooms, depending on what power they had. Lucas walked up to me and handed me his leather jacket. "What's this for?" I asked. "It means that you're the new leader of the Electrodes in the pack. After that little display, I don't think I deserve it any more." Lucas explained. I handed back the jacket and said, "I can't take the title from you. Erik and I are leaving for Canada in the morning, so I can't be your leader!" "You can't leave! We need you!" Lucas exclaimed, handing back the jacket. "I have to. Ozad's telling me to." I replied, giving up the jacket again. "C'mon, dude! Why?" Lucas asked, handing me the jacket. "I'm not sure, but I've learned to obey what Ozad says. It's better this way. Trust me." I replied, giving back the jacket, and then returning to my room. I stopped before he was out of my hearing range and said, "Take care of Lauren and Grandpa for me." And then I continued walking until I found my room. Honestly, I don't get why they call it a room. It's just a single bed, surrounded by sound proof curtains. There wasn't any room to just walk around, unless you were walking on the bed. I pulled up the curtains, and crawled into bed. I then slowly drifted off into slumber land.
I found myself in an area of total blankness. The only thing I could see was white in every direction. "Where am I?" I asked. Where am I? Where am I? There was an echo. Creepy. "How did I get here?" I asked. Once again, echo. "Where is everything?" I asked. You guessed it: echo. "Everythings... gone." I muttered. Gone. Gone. Gone. I started walking through the wasteland, having no idea where I was or where I was going.
Finally, after what seemed like hours, I came across a huge temple! It looked as though it were thousands of years old; Plants were growing all over it, some parts seemed to be collapsing, etc. The temple reached high into the sky, and I couldn't see the top. "Well, no harm in knocking I suppose." I muttered. Echo. I knocked on the door, apparently much harder than I thought I had. There was a loud BOOM! with every knock, and each boom echoed. The doors slowly began to open, and light flooded out and practically blinded me. I turned away and shut my eyes to prevent the sting.
After a minute, I opened my eyes and walked into the temple. "Hello?" I asked, Hello? Hello? Hello? The echo was much louder here than outside. There was no responce, so I turned around and started heading for the door. "Greetings, Will." I heard someone say. It sounded like Ozad. Suprisingly, no echo.
I spun around, and saw a man with REALLY crazy hair. It was gold, red, and silver. Some of it reached down to his knees, and some of it stood 3 feet tall. He had on a silver robe, a golden crown, and golden rings around his wrists and ankles. He seemed to flicker, as if he were a hologram. "Who are you?" I asked. "I am Ozad." The man replied. My jaw dropped. "What?" Ozad asked. "Well, it's just, I didn't expect you to have such crazy hair!" I exclaimed. I know it sounded ridiculous, but what the heck? "What's wrong with my hair?" Ozad asked. "It's 3 different colors, and it's 3 feet tall." I replied. "So?" Ozad asked. "That isn't normal! I'm 100% positive that people will NEVER have their hair like that, unless it's crazy hair day." I answered. "Well, anyways, this isn't the point. I need to talk to you." Ozad said. "About what?" I asked. "You have no recollection of the past, correct?" Ozad asked. "Yeah." I replied. "That is why we must head north. The red Omni-Topaz lies there, and we must retrieve it. Each topaz represents one element of the body. The red Omni-Topaz represents memory." Ozad explained. "Okay... just out of curriosity, what elements of the body do each Topaz represent?" I asked. "Green: Life force. Red: Memory. Yellow: Emotion. Blue: Power. Silver: Conscience. Orange: . Black: Sin." Ozad listed. "Okay... so we're heading for Canada to find the Red Topaz and retrieve my memories?" I asked. "Exactly. However, you do not have to go if you do not want to. There are some memories that you may be happier without. Are you sure you want to remember everything?" Ozad asked. "I'm sure. I don't care how unhappy it'll make me. It's better than constantly living in fear and confusion." I replied. "Very well. Wake up." Ozad said.
Suddenly, I was back in my bed. O: We must leave, now! ; Why now? It's 3 in the morning! ; Serenity will be waking up any minute. We must be gone by the time she gets here. ; What will she do? ; You don't want to know. Wake Erik and get out! ; Okay. I opened my curtains and ran over to Erik's bed. I shook him and said, "Erik! Wake up!" "meh... 5 more minutes mommy..." Erik mumbled. "Fine. I suppose we're doing this the hard way." I said. I zapped him. "AAAH!!! Okay, okay! I'm up!" Erik exclaimed, jumping AT LEAST 3 feet into the air. "C'mon. We're heading to Canada!" I exclaimed.
