I went upstairs to my room. My room isn't very girly. It had belonged to my sister, Lynn; but then she got married and moved out. So its still kind of dark and just like her, thats why i havent changed it. Lynn is my best friend, we did everything together growing up. 

 

                                              *FLASHBACK*

"Lynn slow down i cant catch you!"

"Thats kind of the whole point."

"i knew that....."

"sure you did"

It was a warm summers day afternoon and me and Lynn had just gotten home from playing down at the creek down behind our house. As we were walking up to the house we could hear sirens all around us. Our mom had heart problems and we thought that it had something to do with our mom.

"i hope those aren't for mom."

As we were running up to the house we saw the red and blue lights flashing in our driveway. We knew instantly that something was wrong with mom.

"Lynn.. what happens if mom dies?"

"Nothing she'll be ok"

As the paramedics took her out of the house on the strecher, her body laying there not moving i could tell that everything was not going to be ok. The next day our mom was gone. Lynn never left my side at the furenal. She said that we had to stick to together and make sure nothing ever happened to any of us. 

                                          *END OF FLASHBACK*

 

The next day at school i ran into Donald trying to get into my locker. i was still a little upset about how things went last night, so i kinda didn't want to talk to him just yet.

"Hey Hayley where are you going?"

"umm to my locker...."

I tired to walk away but he grapped my arm and pulled me back so i was face to face with his beautiful chest.

"hey are you made at me?"

"No not really. why?"

"Because you look like your going to rip someones head off any minute now."

"oh."

"Did i do anything to upset you?"

"no i just kinda made myself mad about something stupid."

"oh ok. so you wont get mad if i do this wil you?"

" Do wha-"

he pressed his soft lips against mine and it felt like it lasted forever.
