Just Try to Guess [two]

It was the Thursday before Winter Formal and after school that day we had planned to go pick out dresses together. But before that we can go to the only exciting period of the day, 4th period. Back in Chemistry class Mikayla had to endure the pain of being Matthew’s lab partner.

“Good morning Princess,” he said as he smiled at her and sat in his seat. Mikayla just glared at him. “So, Princess I was wondering…….” he began only to be cut off by Mikayla.

“That is not my name, and I would appreciate it if you would stop calling me that,” she said angrily as she filled the test tubes.

“Okay, well Princess,” he said only because he gets a certain kick out of her anger. “I was wondering if you would like the pleasure of going to that dance with me.” She rose her eyebrow at him, then she looked him up and down.

She gave out a small laugh, “I will never do anything with you, I am not one of your .. your … oh you know what I mean.”

“Oh you’ll come around baby,” he said as he put his arm around her shoulder, “they always come around.”

Mikayla had a disgusted look on her face and removed his arm from her shoulder. She then gently put her hand on his shoulder and said, “I know this may take some time to sink through your thick scull,” and then she yelled, “but i am not like other girls.”

Everyone in the class looked over at their table. She blushed and sunk down in her seat as he laid back, put his hand behind his head and smirked. Mikayla didn’t know it but she was his new pursuit. “Thanks to the loud interruption we will be having a pop quiz,” the professor proclaimed. Then the whole class moaned and Mikayla felt really bad.

And at this very time the English teacher had left the room to go flirt with one of the AP math teachers. This was the very class that Charlie was in. Right as soon as she left the class the Asian nerd know as John poked her for the 50^th time that day.

“What the hell is wrong with you,” she said as she turned around. As soon as Charlie and John were facing each other she realized too late that that she was too close to his face. He took hold of her face and put their lips together and kissed her as hard as he could. It was long and she was waiting for it to end.

As soon as they separated she took her right hand and slapped him in the face.

“What the hell was that,” she yelled at him.

“You know you liked it baby,” he said as he adjusted his glasses. “There is more of that to come when you go to formal with me.”

She stood up and walked over in front of him and said, “What would ever make you think a guy like you would have the slightest chance with a girl like me.” She was over confident she really wasn’t all that desirable. And then the teacher walked back into the classroom just in time for the bell to ring.

And as the bell rang outside of History class Jack stopped Nicole. “I know you don’t like me, but you are my tutor and we need to set up a date for you to tutor me.”

“Umm, well there is a test on Monday. So I guess this weekend on Saturday would be good.” She said shyly to him. And all the while looking down and avoiding eye contact.

“ok,” he said as he began to walk away, but before he got to far he stopped. He turned around looked at Nicole and said, “whats your address?”

“oh here,” she said and took out a paper and pen and wrote it down.

“Thanks see you then,” he said walking away with his hand up. And although she would not admit it she bit here lip to stop the excitement from showing.

Later that day we went to the mall and we brought Robbie to tag along so that he and Faith could get matching outfits. The both purchased an outfit at Macys and it was a burgundy color. Faith’s dress was really pretty and pretty hot. Nicole got her dress from a small store called Modern Fashion it was honestly too long, she just didn’t quite know how to dress for parties or dances. We were on the way to Forever 21 were Charlie wanted to get her dress.

We were walking by the food court and we decided why not get something to eat, we automatically expect to see people here because its real close to our school. And as we expected we saw many.

They were walking over to the pizza place and Charlie was making fun of Mikayla who was dancing to the song playing. “God, you are the worst dancer ever,” she said laughing.

Mikayla just glared and continued until she heard something she didn’t want to hear. “Hey Princess,” she heard him yell from across the way. It was Matthew with all his tough friends. She tried to avoid him, but he ran around to say hey.

“Hello Matthew,” she said uninterested. He put his hand on her shoulder yet again and Charlie and Nicole couldn’t hold back their laughter. Faith was too busy making out with Robbie at one of the tables. “What do you want?”

“Nothing, just glad to see your going to Formal,” he said smiling. He looked over at his friends while pointing to her to get approving nods from them.

“I told you I’m not gunna go with you,” Mikayla said.

“I know, but I still look forward to freaking on you,” he said as he walked away leaving a disgusted look on her face. Once again Charlie and Nicole laughed real hard at this. They looked over at him with his friends all high fiving him.

“Ohh he so likes you,” Charlie said making fun of it. Mikayla just shrugged it off as they continued to shop. Charlie got a very modern dress that didn’t quite compliment he body shape from Forever 21. And Mikayla got a dress from Sidecca. It was an old fashion dress, but she enjoyed those things. Nicole called it a short I Love Lucy dress.
