The rain continued to poor, but they continued their romantic scene. Then Alicia pulled away and asked,"Want to dance?"

    "With no music? In the rain?"

    "What better place?" She grabbed Brett's hand and placed it on her hip and took the other in hers. She began to sway as she hummed a melody. Brett instantly recognized the tune.

    "And what's a crush to do? What's a crush to do when he can't get through?" He sang along following the beat of the song, "Medically speaking you're adorable. And from what I hear you're quite affordable. But I like them pricey. So exaggerate and trick me Pretty please, just trick me. Pretty please..."

    Alicia smiled and rested her head on his shoulder. They swayed together listening to the patter of the rain. 

    "Get your butts inside! Your gonna catch hypothermia." Alicia looked up to find Anya leaning out of the door. She pulled away from Brett and started to walk back with him close behind. "Do you not realize it's freezing outside? I know you like the rain, but are you crazy?"

    Alicia just smiled and walked up the stairs. Anya continued on her rant as walked into the kitchen knowing too well that Alicia wouldn't be listening. When Brett had reached the top of the stairs Alicia was looking through a closet near her bedroom. 

    "Here." She pulled out a t-shirt and a pair of pajama bottoms and handed them to Brett.

    "Why do you have these?"

    "Just in case." She smirked,"You never know."

    He chuckled as he walked into the bathroom. Alicia waited until the door closed and then walked into her room. She quickly flipped the switch before entering. She hated the dark. It was one of those childish fears that would always be haunting her.

    She quickly undressed and slipped on some black sweats and a gray t-shirt. She then started to pick up some of her papers, but then sat down as she examined one she had drawn just yesterday. It was an black iris with white tips inspired by the book New Moon written by Stephanie Meyer, but she put her little twist on it. She had originally decided to draw it because she felt like she was in love just like Bella, but now she didn't know what she was feeling. She was about to crumple it up and throw it away, but the paper was gently pulled from her hand.

     "Beautiful flower. An iris, right?" Brett stepped out in front of her and sat on her futon. 

    "Yeah. I didn't like how I drew, so I was going to throw it away."

    "Can I keep it instead?" She stared at him a little shocked, but then smiled.

    "Sure."

    "I'll think of it as a second welcoming present."He said before laying down on the futon. 

    "Second?"

    He put the picture down on the floor by his feet and then rolled over facing the wall,"Yeah. The kiss was the first one." 

    She crawled over to him and checked if he had closed his eyes. He kept still to make it seem like he was sleeping and she gently kissed him on the cheek. "That can be your third."
