Alicia pulled Brett down the stairs and walked towards the front door.
"Wait a minute, Alicia." called Anya. "Where do you think your going?"
"Outside."Alicia responded bluntly and walked out the door dragging Brett along.
"But it's raining, Alicia."Brett commented not moving from the small porch.
"Good job, Captain Obvious."
"Smart ass." He chuckled. "But what are you going to show me that's outside?"
"Nothing. I just wanted to stand outside." She said walking off the porch into the drizzle.
"In the rain?"He asked amused.
"Yeah. It's the best type of weather." She replied in a daze as she stared up at the clouds letting the water drip down onto her face.
"But it's cold and wet."
"When has water been anything other than wet?"
"Oh, shut up."
"Come on. It's fun. Trust me." She said grabbing his hand.
"I don't know. I mean I just met you and all." He smirked.
"Please. Just for a little bit, I promise." She pulled harder making her slip pulling him down along with her.
He landed right on top of her and stared at her smiling, "So this is why you like the rain?"
She laughed and shoved him off," Pervert."
"Don't think I don't know what your thinking, little missy."He said propping his head up on his hand.
"Oh mister what could I possibly be thinking?"Alicia replied in a southern bell accent.
He leaned back over her and stared at her for a minute before leaning in seizing the opportunity unlike earlier. Their lips met with passion for a few moments before he pulled back and stood. "Brett?"
He turned towards her,"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have. Especially after what happened inside I should have known better. I'm..."\
"Brett. It's okay. You have no reason to be sorry."She said before pulling him closer to her.
