Sila

I remember a girl with long black hair and a black dress. She looked like me, but she seemed sad. She even had a similar necklace, but the stone was white. Then, I remember being pulled. The mirror. I was being pulled in by the mirror's water. What had happened since then?

I opened my eyes and found myself laying on a path of a strange color I had never seen before. Then, I heard something stirring beside me. I quickly turned to see the girl that was on the other side of the mirror. She sat up and started mumbling to herself when she finally realized I was next to her. Her eyes grew wide, but instead of pulling back she reached her hand out as if to see if I was real.

“Yes, I'm real. No need to touch me.”

She quickly pulled her hand back in surprise. It must have been my voice.

“Sorry.” She said in a scratchy voice.

“Have you been screaming?” I asked a little concerned.

“I think so. Yes, I was screaming for Regor to help me.”

“That explains your scratchy voice. If you don't mind me asking who's Regor? Odd name I must say.”

“Regor? Oh, well he's my guard. What do you mean by odd? It's a perfectly normal name from where I come from.”

“Well, I can't say the same for me. A perfectly normal name would be something like Roger. That's my guards name.”

She made a face towards the name. She can dislike the name, but it's still normal. I stood up and dusted my dress off and realized that I hadn't given her my name.

“I forgot my manners, my name is Sila Milud.”I said extending my hand.

“Oh,”She dusted her hand off and took mine, “Pleased, Alis Dulim.”

“Rather dark place we're in, don't you think?” I said as I looked to see if there was any light around.

“No, actually it seems rather nice in here.” Odd girl. I made a face, but quickly changed it as she smiled.

In the distance I heard a sound, but I couldn't figure what it was. “Do you hear something?”

“Yes, but what is it?”

It became louder as if it was drawing closer. Something like tick tock tick tock almost like a clock. In fact I think that's what it was a clock, but before I could say anything a young boy had appeared in front of us. He was rather strange. One reason was that he had just appeared out of no where, but he also had large ears and they seemed to be fluffy like a rabbits. I don't know how long I stared at him before he said something.

“Alis Dulim and Sila Milud. Your late.” Without waiting for a reply he started to walk away and I noticed he had a rabbit's tale as well. I looked over at Alis and she didn't seem bothered by it at all.

“Excuse me. Excuse me.” He wouldn't reply, so I ran to catch up with him. “Excuse me, um sir. What do you mean we're late?.”

He stopped and stared at me as if I was supposed to know what was going on. “Your late for your meeting with Harte Queens.”

“Harte Queens? Who, may I ask, is that?” Again he gave a weird look.

“Just follow me.” He said turning and that's when I noticed he had a rabbit's tail along with his ears. I turned back to check where Alis was at. She was still standing in the same spot the boy had appeared.

“Alis? Are you coming?”I turned back to see how far the boy had gone and he looked as if was disappearing. “Alis, I think we should hurry or we'll...”

I looked back and she was standing right next to me.

“...loose him.”I mumbled to myself. Odd indeed.

Alis

This other girl. She doesn't make sense to me. So far what she thinks is the opposite of what I think. I don't know what to think about her yet. I'll just watch and see what happens.
