"Don't cry, please Alicia."
"Don't cry, Don't cry?" Alicia screamed, "I'm not crying. I'm laughing at how stupid I was for ever falling for you."
Alicia pulled off a silver bracelet from her wrist and threw it at Jordan hitting him in the shoulder. Alicia ran out of the park, but didn't make it very far running into a guy walking backwards. She fell over, but she didn't move. The ground felt warm against her back making her feel good because she felt really cold at that moment. The guy had fallen over too landing next to her and he just laid there too. Worried something had happened to him she quickly sat up looking him over. He seemed fine. He was still breathing, but his eyes were shut.
"Hello?" She asked really confused right now.
Opening one eye, the guy looked over at her and smile,"Hi. Sorry for running into ya. Didn't see ya."
Still confused she asked,"So, your fine?"
"Yeah never been better."
"Uh...okay."Laying back down she stared up at the tree branches and let the warm sun rain down on her face.
"Why are you laying on the ground?"
Closing her eyes she responded,"Why were you walking backwards?"
"Touche." He sat up and watched the girl lay on the ground. "The name's Brett. What's yours?"
Copying the boys actions she opened only one eye,"Alicia."
"Very nice to meet you, Alicia." He stretched out his hand waiting for her to respond. She sat up and hesitantly grabbed his hand.
"Same."
"Were you crying?" A little shocked Alicia turned her face and wiped the excess tears. She sat there silent. "It's okay to. Crying, I mean."
She looked back up and faked a small smile, but she could tell it didn't convince him.
"What's the matter?" She couldn't believe this backwards walking boy was actually trying to find out why she was crying. Tears started to roll down her cheeks, she was unable to control them now. She was now shaking and she became cold again. Then she felt Brett pull her in and he held her as she cried. She just let herself sit there and be held by a total stranger, but right now she didn't care.
