Alis
I didn't think it was going to work, but just the way he said I'll be your guide made me feel as if anything was possible. I was so curious about what was hiding behind the curtain. I grabbed hold of the the curtain closest to me as he grabbed the other side. I took his hand in mine and we counted to three.
“One..two...”The world seemed to stop as we said, “three.”
The curtain came down easily and in a very elegant way. I watched as the the curtain hit the floor, but I had the urge to jerk my head up. My eyes met with a mirror, but on the other side was something different than my reflection. Well it looked like me, but it wasn't. I stared at a girl staring straight back at me. She looked like me except her hair was like snow and so was her dress. There was also a boy standing next to her holding her hand just like Regor and me, but he didn't have the ears on top of his head. I let go of Regor's hand and stepped back. The girl did the same. I reached my hand forward to touch the mirror, but it wasn't solid. I pulled back quickly and looked up at Regor. I couldn't tell what was going through his head he just stared at the mirror. I tried touching the mirror again, but this time I tried pushing my hand in. It worked. I pushed in farther and I felt something pulling me in.
“No.”I screamed as I tried pulling my hand back out. It was too late it was sucking me in.“Regor.”
I looked over at him, but he was still staring straight ahead. My whole right side was going numb. I couldn't fight the pull of the mirror. My face was starting to grow closer towards the mirror. I was afraid of not being able to breathe, but I knew there was no way I could avoid being pulled in. I drew in a deep breath as I felt the cold water hit my face.
Regor
The next thing I saw was what seemed to be Alis's hand sinking into a large mirror. I was so confused. I remember counting to three, but when did we pull the curtain down.
I ran to the mirror trying to grab the hand, but I was too late. The mirror, it was solid. I could have sworn it was liquid seconds ago. I stared at it and realized someone was staring back. He looked like me, but was dressed differently. He didn't have dog ears either.
What was going on? Where's Alis? Who's on the other side of the mirror? So many questions and no one to answer.
