Looking Glass Twins

“Only one more wall to walk through.”

“Another wall?”Roger complained.

“Yes. Now come on.” I walked straight through and he followed with little hesitation. “Now was that so hard?”

“Yes it was very difficult.”He said sticking his tounge out acting very childish.

We came into a giant cave with a wonderous water fall inside. It was the second best part of the Underground Whyte Garden. I grabbed his hand and pulled over to a black curtain that was hanging on the back of the cave.

“What's this?”He asked, “You said there would be no more passages.”

“This isn't a passage. Actually I don't know what this is, but it has some writing next to it and I was wondering if you could help me with it.”

“Okay, what's it say?”

“It says something about needing a guide to find the path through the mirror.”

“Now, what do you suppose that means?”

“I wouldn't be asking if I knew. Now, would I?”

He walked over to the cloth and gave it a tug, but it didn't even budge. Then, he stepped back and said, “I'm thinking that maybe you need to have two people pull on the curtain. I don't know why. It's just a feeling.”

Roger

“Okay, but should we do it now?” She asked anxiously.

“I don't know. It's up to you I mean it is your secret.” A huge smile crossed her face.

“I love you, Roger.”She came and grasped me in a hug. I don't know exactly what I did, but I was enjoying this moment.

“I love you too.”

She took a deep breath and said, “Okay, let's do it.”

She grabbed part of the curtain in one hand and held mine with the other. I followed her lead.

“Ready...one...two...three...”
