When Raven woke up she could feel the wind blowing in her face vigorously. She looked up and saw James's face looking straight ahead as if he was determined to get somewhere and now. Then, she remembered the events before she passed out. She didn't want to be held by him not after what he said. She pushed away as hard as she could, but she regretted it in the next second because she started to fall. Why hadn't she realized they were flying. She started to scream, but stopped when something stopped her from falling.
"Raven, you idiot. What were you thinking?"
James was holding her again. He was craddleing her in his arms like she was an infant like she was so precious to him.
"I was thinking I wanted to get away from you." she muttered looking away from him.
"What...but I just saved your life."He seemed very surprised.
Yeah after what you did.The tears started to run down her cheeks. She didn't really care anymore.
James landed softly on the roof of her house and set her down, but as she tried to walk away she felt a tug on her hand. She looked at her hand and saw his tightly wrapped around it. She looked into his eyes. They were full of anguish and regret.
"Raven I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt you. I was trying to distract him, so he would let me get close to you to get you out of there. Then, he figured out what I was trying to do, so then I came up with a new plan and I tackled him before he could bite you. I swear I didn't mean to. I'm sorry."
Raven started to cry again, but not because of what he had done, but because of how stupid she was for thinking that he meant it. She sat as close to him as she could and leaned on him. He looked at her with sad eyes that had started to from tears. She pulled him down to her and gently kissed him,"I don't think I could be strong if you cried your the strongest person I know."
That made James smile,"I don't think I could be strong without you here."
