James thanked Lilly again and flew off to find Raven. It was kind of weird for an ordinary girl to have the name related to his species. Of course his wings did not have the soft feathers that the Ravens had his were just a leathery skin. I guess that's what the Bats got for being such primitive creatures. We were given the option of having the beautifully colored feathers, but Satra had to object. Satra was the smartest and the strongest of us all and it was her decision to make. I guess that's why she's the leader of the colony, but if I was old enough I would have chosen someone else to be the leader because she still treats me like I'm a pup. It's probably only because I'm the only one that is still under twenty other than Lilly. 

James was now flying over a park when he heard a girl screaming.

"Let go of me."Raven screamed.

"I should have gagged you when I had the chance."Raven's attacker muttered to himself, but then quickly shouted at her,"Shut up or you'll never see your precious James again."

Raven was being dragged through a park by her wrists. She tried to loosen the man's grip, but it didn't seem to phase him.

"Where are you taking me?"

"I said shut up."

They reached an open area with no one in sight. Raven lost all hope.

"Girl,"Raven looked up."I'm going to let go of you, but if you run I will hunt you down and kill you on the spot. Got it?"

Raven nodded as he let go of her wrists. She lost her balance and fell to the ground. So, far he had threaten her twice. Once to take her away from James if she screamed and once to kill her if she ran so she decided it would be best just to lay there and make no sudden moves.She looked up and saw something fly across the sky. Hope rose in her, but it soon faded because it could be that Kelly girl. Behind her she heard a phone snap shut. All of  a sudden there was a loud crash in the distance. Raven quickly sat up and looked in the direction the sound came from.

"Tony, what are you doing out in the middle of the park at midnight? And who's that wi...Raven?"

James appeared from the shadows with shock on his face.

"A little shocked aren't ya little brother. I just happened to be taking a walk when I just happened to find this lovely young girl all alone and she started to hit on me and you know how I am with girls." 

James's shock turned into fury instantly,"Yeah I know."

"Is little brother upset? I mean it's not like you own her or anything, so I just decided to take her up on her offer." Tony gave his most evil smile. He seemed to be enjoying his brother's pain. 

Raven was still lying on the ground to stunned to move.

"I didn't know  she could be such a little slut." James looked at her and back up at Tony,"I mean that's the only type of girls you like, right, big brother?"

Raven looked at James in disbelief not believing what she had just heard him say. Tears started to roll down her cheeks as she looked towards down the ground. Tony was taken by surprise for a few moments too, but returned back to his malicious self,"Then you won't mind if I have the first bite?"

"No go ahead."

Raven decided that there was no use in fighting Tony with his strength, but mostly because of what James had said. As she was picked up Raven felt nothing at first, but then she felt two sharp objects poke into her neck, but then the pain disappeared. The last thing she remembered was suddenly being dropped and seeing darkness.
