“Is it true?” shoving the picture and the check copy

He tensed and kept moving in his chair; and then got himself together

“Is it true!?!” she asked again with a crying shout

He looked down at the floor and nodded

“baby, you need to understand something” as he sat next to her trying to hold her

“get out!” she shouted “don’t get near me!”

“Babe, babe…” he said trying to calm the rage she was having

“how much money you need? Tell me ?” she said

“oh my god, I cant believe I gave my heart to a man whore!” she  have never in her life misbehaved the way she did that way, as she kept cursing him asking him to leave, while he took it all and kept his silent; she stopped to continue crying, her head was hurting from all the shouting, 

‘are you done?” he said calmly, she hated that about him; it’s like he doesn’t really care!, Which drove her crazy

“Let me explain now, please?”

“GET OUT!” she shouted trying to push him away “ I don’t want to hear anything from you! I don’t want to see you! Just leave me alone please!!! Is it too much to ask?”

“Baby, just let me explain and then I will leave just listen!” he shouted

“I am not proud of what I did for life, but what we had was real; that’s why I couldn’t help it but come back, I couldn’t help falling in love with you from the first day we met; I know how much you gave me and I will understand if you don’t want me in your life; because I am nothing but a loser, but give me a chance; that’s all I am asking for, let me make it up to you; you cant imagine how much sleepless night I’ve had trying to figure out a way to admit this to you, to get it off my chest…….”

“oh poor Kevin, I am so horrible to you. Are you done?” she said trying to get her strength back

“baby, please try to understand, ugh … I love you! And I swear I will do anything for you, I am sorry if I failed you, but the thing is, I wouldn’t have met you otherwise. And I am glad I have met such a unique spirit, can you ever forgive me? I will spend the rest of my life making it up for you; I promise!”

“are you done?” she said wiping away her tears,

“ I … I .. I just need you to understand, I am not proud of what I’ve done, and I am really sorry, I swear if you take me back I’ll love you, spoil you and everything, please you have a big heart, find a way to forgive me”

“done yet?”

“yes” he said

“okay then get out now; I don’t want to see you ever again. And if you really love me like you said; leave me alone for God sake!”

By then all of Nancy friends were at the door and it was a big scene because of all the shouting, he stood up,

“sure baby” he said in a weak voice and walked away into that door. 

Right then I realized I just kicked out the most important and valuable thing in my life in able to secure my heart again. What an expensive price we pay to avoid being hurt… I can live without him, but life isn’t the same.
