Chapter 23:
- * Before she woke up *
- "are you her family?"
- "Yes" some said and others nodded "what happened?" Adam said impatiently
- " well, everything is going to be all right; she will wake up in few hours and everything will be okay; just don’t stress her okay!"
- Adam turned pale as everyone else jumped of joy! … Janet and Amy were literary dancing on the floor till the nurse stopped them.
- "what's wrong Adam?" Asked Cassie
- "I am just relieved, I was pretty worried" as he wiped a tear the fell of his eyes "excuse me, … " he said politely and walked away
- Janet looking suspicious
- Amy "awwwwwww how sweet he was crying of joy"
- Cassie looking touched as well
- Janet "I don’t know, he didn’t look thrilled to me"
- "What do you mean?" asked Amy
- "I've seen guys relieved but he doesn’t look like it, and why is he getting out of the hospital?"
- Cassie "maybe he is trying to get her flowers , wear something nice ?"
- Amy "maybe he needed to run some gas out"
- They all laughed …
- Cassie " I don’t really care, I am glad she is fine"
- Janet "yeh me to!"
- Amy "me three" smiling at them
- "excuse me" Cassie called for the nurse
- "yes mam?"
- Janet whispering to Amy "she picked the hot nurse"
- "oh nice aiming I see" they were both giggling
- "when is she going to wake up?"
- "who?"
- "Nancy!"
- "Sorry, who's Nancy?"
- "My best friend!?"
- Janet let out a loud laugh, as Amy interrupted to save the situation
- "Nancy Wilder on room 240"
- "Oh, here is her doctor, you can ask her"
- "Thank you" said Janet with a smirk
- As Cassie ran to the doctor
- "Excuse me" she said as she stopped to catch her breath
- "you didn’t tell us when she is going to wake up?"
- "oh in half an hour maybe, but you can stay with her now"
- "Thanks a lot"
- "Your welcome"
- After 22 minutes
- Janet "come here Cassie, Amy … she is waking up"
- They all gathered around her as she slowly tried to open her eyes; she was crying in her sleep, or at least looked like it
- Nancy "Where is Kevin!?! Did he die!? What Happened?"
- As a strike of headache hit her head ….
- Cassie moved over and held her … "calm down, calm down it was just a dream; Kevin is in jail and Adam went somewhere to get something and he will be right back with you"
