- "Is that true young man?"
- "Yes" muttered Kevin looking into the ground.
- "How did this happen?" asked the cop
- "Well, we were fighting because he was hitting on my fiancé and then he got his knife out to stab me; she tried to stop him and he ended up stabbing him" said Adam
- "oh is that how it went?" she asked Kevin, who kept staring into the ground not paying attention to what is being said, he just wanted to be over with it; and check on her.
- "Is that what happened?" asked the cop again, sounding a bit concern
- "Yes" he muttered
- "Okay, then you know we have to take you to jail now right?"
- "Yes I know, but can you please wait till I know her condition?"
- She felt bad for him "sure, but I will have to handcuff you and watch you"
- "Okay, thank you!"
- Adam had his big grin on his face, which he couldn’t hide
- "Do you need anything else from me?" said Adam
- "Just some routine questions, but you can go now if you want. You have to stay around though, incase we needed you"
- "Sure" as he watched her handcuffing Kevin
- Cassie shows up freaking out, she sees Adam sitting there all depressed; she hugs him
- "What happened?" She asked
- "Well, this bastard shows up in our house and luckily I was there to protect her!"
- "aww guys! Typical, you never know what they are thinking!" sounding totally mad and irritated
- "I hope he rotten in jail! Where is he anyway?" still she was curious to see that mystery man
- "He is in the office, with the cop. I don’t know why they even let him stay!"
- "How is she?!" she asked again
- "Well, I think they are doing some surgery"
- "Oh my god" she cried "that bad! This fucking bastard! What did she ever do to him?"
- Adam stayed silent "can I see her?" she asked once again
- "No they wouldn’t let us"
- She stood up and went to talk to the nurse
- "Hello miss how can I help you?"
- "how is her status? Is she going to be okay?"
