He got nervous "no, are you nervous?"
her hands were so soft; and he couldn't take his hands off
"well..." she looked at her watch. "I do have to meet with the doctor in awhile. I don't know what to say to him and they scare me"
"cant i just run away?"
he smiled "you sure can, anything is possible with Joe"

he smiled "you sure can, anything is possible with Joe"
"I think we should go" as she looked at her watch
"yah sure" he grabbed his jacket; got Sandra off the table
"oh wait, you think we should pay first?" she wondered
"oh right" he laughed "no worry I will take care of that; just take Sandra to the car will ya?"
"sure" she smiled she looked so angelic when she smiled he could feel all his trouble going away for a second it was him, her , Sandra and the rest of the world. He watched her walking Sandra out as his cell phone starts ringing
"hello"
"you bastard! Man am gonna make your life living hell! … you don’t have a job or an apartment; so ya am defiantly taking that baby away, you think a small piece of paper would help you!"
"leave me alone! I don’t want trouble; you think I don’t feel bad , sad mad … you think you’re the only one who lost someone; the girl I lost that day was my life; she is everything I ever wanted in life, why cant you see I want nothing to do with you and your money! Just so you know I didn’t even know you were her father when I met her! I loved her damn it!"
"blah blah blah oh your done?"

"are you ok?" the waitress interrupted, he nodded
"you listen Jerk, I wont be satisfied unless I take what you took from me; and don’t give me this whole I loved her speech. You only love your self, your selfish bastard; you knew she had a weak heart but you let her go through it you rotten son of ****"
"ENOUGH ALREADY!" Joe screamed which made everyone in the restaurant look at him then cooled down again "I cant take this anymore; I really cant its hard enough living every single day; waking up having the same pain in my heart only hurt more every single second I realize she is not there anymore; its hard enough I wake up everyday and see her side of the bed empty, or even her toothbrush unused; its hard enough watching those videotape and crying my self to sleep every single night; you think it easy acting strong; am a wreck! Cant you see! And your not making it any easier; I would trade her life for mine any minute!
"well I wish you did prick!"
"you know … all this time your daughter been talking about you to me; she was always fascinated with your personality; I loved you that’s how much I loved her to love someone like you; but you know what am sick of trying to get you on my side! I know that’s what Sandra would want me to do … but I cant do it; am not that strong, so either you come here and kill me now! Because you aint taking my daughter away from me; the only way you going to do that is over my dead body!" as he ended the call; switched his phone off and went to the bathroom washed his sore tears; got his fake smile on and went to the car.
Meanwhile it was quiet; she didn’t say anything as if she knew something was wrong and silence was exactly what he needed
“I don’t know how to thank you for everything Joe.” Jenny said as they pulled up in front of the hospital.
“Don’t mention it Jenny. I would walk you back in but,” he looked into the back seat where Sandy was sleeping." I would never get her back to sleep.”
“It’s ok. I better go though; I’m supposed to meet the doctor soon. Will I ever see you again?”
“I’m sure we will.” He smiled, “Good luck with your mom. You need to be with her now but if you need to talk or just get out for awhile,” he handed her a piece of paper, “give me a call ok?”
She smiled as she took the paper and leaned over to give him a kiss on the cheek, He felt blood rushes to his face; his heart was pounding so fast over his chest “Thanks.” She said then she climbed out of the car. “You might regret doing that.” She joked as she leaned back in the window. “I’ll talk with you later.”
“Bye.” All he could say without having her realizing how much he was blushing then drove off.
