• “Do you have any more food?”

•  “No” he said as he looked down at Sandy.

• “She will be hungry to when she wakes up. Why don’t we go get something to eat?”

• “Oh,” Jenny looked at the doors to the ICU, “I would, but…”

• “But what?”

• “What if my mom wakes up? I want to be right here when that happens.”

• She was looking away from him so he looked at her till she finally noticed he was still talking

•  “She is in a drug induced coma right?”

• “Yeah.”

• “So she wont wake up unless they let her right? Do you think there is a chance of that happening anytime soon?”

• “Well no. I guess not.”

• She looked nervous and started moving her fingers together as if she is thinking her words over

•  “I’m a little rumpled. I won't embarrass you?”
• “No,” he laughed, “I promise you by the time the three of us are done eating Sandy and I will be wearing most of her food. The question is, are you sure you want to go out with us?”

• Jenny’s stomach growled again louder. “Does that answer your question?”

• “Great I know a perfect little diner not far from here. Shouldn’t be too crowded and we can talk a little more.”

• He got them into the dinner; she sat in front of him as he put his daughter in the baby's chair and they both ordered

• "So, what do you think! Neat huh?"

• "well it can use some cleaning" she laughed as little Sandra started mumbling something

• "Both girls turned against me now! I am your daddy always take my side ok!" they both laughed

• He wanted to talk about something; but just getting in the restaurant made him remember all those sore memory; well they were happy memory's. he always came over there with Sandra. And he hadn’t been here since she passed away; Jenny kept playing with little Sandra pick a boo and Sandra laughing hard; he looked at Jenny all spontinious and all making faces made him laugh

• "oh my god joe!"  one of the waitresses said

• "Haven’t seen you here since forever" as she took a fast look at Jenny then little Sandra

• "yeh its been a while!"
•  
• "omg! You guys had your baby! She is so cute!!!!" as she carried little Sandra

• "yip like father like daughter" he joked as terrible pain came over his chest he didn’t want to tell her anything and Jenny felt it so she wanted to change the topic and all

• " so is the food as good as I heard! Because am a tuff critic"
• Joe laughed and the waitress smiled "well you try us once, you will come twice"

• Joe kept laughing "is that your new song?"
•  
• The waitress giggled "nop it get better; but the manager didn’t like it"

• "Its pretty good" said Jenny smiling

• "Thanks" as the waitress kept looking around and then asked "what did you name her?"

• "Sandra" he said; the waitress looked shocked "wow! You could never have enough of her moma now you want them both!"

• "yip that’s me" he said faking a smile

• "Where is she by the way? Haven’t seen her in forever"

• "She is resting" he answered
•  
• "Oh ok I need to serve people here I keep forgetting ha ha ha, gotta get going nice catching up with you! And next time bring Sandra with you! Or else! No free brownies"

• "You got it!" he said smiling then took a deep breath trying to stop his eyes from tearing up

• "Sorry about that" he said looking at Jenny who seemed sad. "I didn’t think someone would recognize me, maybe I need to wait three more years" he laughed

• Jenny smiled "pretty popular!"

• "so are you in school?" he finally said; man! This is the lamest question ever

• "yes" but she didn’t sound happy about it "what about you?"

• "I dropped out"
