The closed with a loud THUD as it shut behind me.  I walked into the kitchen. My mom was sitting at the table eatting a banana muffen. I went to the refrigarator to grabbe a glass of water. Vampires don't alway have to drink blood. Whitch reminds me that tonight after my date I was going to have to go hunting. We only hunt when we get hungry. Whitch is very three weeks. Mom gave me a look that said sit your ass down. I sat down across from her.

"So was that his car?"

"Yea mom, well I think so?"

"Oh its a nice car." Her green eyes heldmy steel grays ones.

"So mom can I go out with Sam tonight?" I gave her a pleading look. She was quite for a long time. I just sat there drinking my water and waiting for her to answer. She got up and went to the sink. She grabbed her self a glass of water as well. Then she turned around to look at me.

"Sweetie you do know that you have to feed to night right?"

"Yea mom. I know that tonight is hunting night."

"Well then I think you should put the date off till tomorrow night."

"No its ok , i'll be home early and then i'll got out hunting."

"Ok but becareful. OK."

"OK mom."

"So when is he comming to pick you up?"

"I don't know. He is going to call , so i'll be in my room doing my homework and looking for an outfit."

"OK." I turned around and walked to my room. I started with a trig homework. It was easy, it only took me abouta half an hour. Then I started on my history paper on the salem witch trials. That took me an hour. I was amost down with all my home work, when the phone rang. I ran down stairs to get it befor my mother could. I was breathing hard when I answered it.

"Hello."

"Hello this is Sam is Chic there?" His voice made my knees go weak.

"Hey Sam."

"Hey can you be realdy by 8:30?" I turned to look at the clock it was 7:45.

"Yea sure I can. Where are we going?"

"You'll see. Well see you then. Bye."

"Ok bye." The phone went dead and I ran up staires to my room to look for somthing to wear. I tryed on many different outfits. The I decide to wear a pair of blue boot cut jeans with a blue and black shirt. The I went to my shoes. I have about 100 paires of shoes. After spending 20 minutes trying on shoes i picked my black white flats.they had ablue ribbon going through the sides and it tied on the toe of the shoe. Then I started on my mike up. A little eyeliner and eye shadow. Then a clear lip gloss. I couldn't look in the mirror because I didn't have a reliction. So  I went down staires to ask Tiffany how I looked. Like Alwas she said I looked good. Sometimes it gets frustrating no being able to see your self. The the dorr bell rang. I went to go answer it.

"Hey."

"Hey." He looked good himself. He had on a pair of black jeans and a white shrit.

"Sweetie , whos atthe door?" Mom asked from the kitchen. She walked out and over to where we were standing.

"Wont you come in?"

"Oh yes ma'am." He steped inside the house. he looked around our living room. It was one of thoughes houses that belinged in a magazine. "You have a lovely house." Just then something caught my nose. It was a strange smell. I couldn't tell where it was comming from.

"Thanks you. So where will you be taking Chic tonight?"

"Just out for a picnic dinner in one of my favorite part of the park." He smiled at me. His white teeth almost shining in the light.

"Ok well if we are going to be back early then we better get going." I said as I walked out the door to the car. sam followed me. He got to the car befor me and opend the door. My mother was standing at the door. She looked at us with a smile on her face. He started up the car and pulled away. No one talked for a while. Then we pulled up the the part of the park where the woods meet the playground.
